My friend went to an abstinence only class and she said it was ridiculous. You were denide answers to some questions or they would tell you complete bull shit. Also, she said that they make you feel so guilty and make you seem like you're dirty if you already had sex and there was no turning back bc you're tainted.

Kids should not be sexualized. Adults can feel free to bed hop but the last thing we need is kids who do it. How do they pay for the babies? Where would the abortion money come from? Why do I owe free condoms to teens when they can be bought with only a few dollars of allowance money? Who pays the medical bills when they get an STD? I highly doubt that kids, after seeing actual pictures of STDs, would be stupid enough to have unprotected sex after that. But, no, kids only get "abstinence-only" education, which doesn't teach them anything at all except that sex is bad. For girls.

Thats what US schools teach. Our progressives see sex ed as being childish as it isnt used to teach how to have anal sex, how to give BJs, etc... They seem to think that the MTV method of sexualizing children should be adopted by schools. Our lefties even think dress codes are sexist, god forbid 10 year olds cant wear thongs to school.

Abstinence-only education programs are funded by Planned Parenthood, as controlled opposition. They force a false dichotomy between (alleged) "conservative" sex-ed and (alleged) "liberal" sex-ed. Naturally, people gravitate toward the "liberal" sex-ed, because the "conservative" sex-ed fails pathetically.

...but the so-called "liberal" sex-ed is FAR from "comprehensive".

I believe sex-ed should be strictly factual. Let kids figure out their own values. Schools shouldn't try to teach morals.
