I bought sprints hero the 1st of April and I am about to take it back for a 3rd hero. The outside speaker keeps blowing up on me so that I can not us the speaker phone nor hear it ring. I love what the phone can do, but if I can't hear a ring or use the speaker phone it is not much good. I will take it back on Monday again for a third hero and hopefully this one won't blow up on me. I think I will buy the insurance on this 3rd one incase it blows up again after my 30 day free look.

Keep in mind that you do need to have those contacts already saved in your contacts list. Lets say you chose the contact 'Maria' and now it will say--

To: Maria, click on To: again and you can repeat the same procedure what you have done few seconds ago. Start typing the first few letters of a contact and their names should show up as a list. Lets say you chose the contact (John) and now up top of the message screen it should say--

To: Maria,John followed by your message.

Click on compose as if you would send a new message to a contact. Then write your message where it says "Tap to compose." Next you choose a contact where it says ( To: ) As you would type in the first few letters, the contacts name should show up in a list. .

I think so. I'm impressed. I had curry stains on my white Hero just hours after getting it - I'm incredibly careless, :( - and it started to fade out after a while. It's almost gone now. Woooooo! :D

I looooove it. Two things annoy me: it lags a little if I have too many apps running at the same time (music player + games + Twitter etc etc). I've decided not to listen to music on this phone anymore. Maybe get an iTouch or something. :P

By carrier do you mean network provider? I'm from Singapore, I use M1. Oh yes, about that.. Singapore doesn't offer accessibility to paid apps (yet). :(

lol it's not a slideshow it's an MMS. In MMSes you can send messages with more than one slide knowing that for each picture (or video, sound) you have to create a new slide.

Definitly seems like a worthy upgrade to the g1 especially the new ui and widgets very cool and very slick. Would be nice if htc could've done something about the gsm noise. Also i'd be curious to know if the battery life's any noticebly better over the g1. It was one of the reasons I got rid of my g1.
