  • Good idea, I need to clean mine. Even though it isn't a walk in.

  • @ILuvCaroline They always need a good clean at the end of the season however small they are.

  • Hi Claire I have bought a greenhouse like yours this year and I love it. I also love all you videos, you have helped me soooooooo much as this is the lst year I've tried growing veg (I did do toms and cucumbers last yr) and I have followed you step by step, which was so easy and you explained everything. So a big big thanks for your time and effort.

  • great vids....I think I'll watch them all =)

    and thanks for them

  • claire, did u put together your greenhouses by yourself or did someone help u? I want a greenhouse but not sure I can put it up by myself..do they come in some kind of kit?

  • I put it together by myself. Usually they are quite straight forward. Would have been faster with 2 people, but I'm stubborn and usually do most stuff on my own. My greenhouse came in a flat pack box. If you think you can't do it on your own, ask a friend. The hardest part was getting the box from the store to the car as it was very heavy.

  • My God Claire u work so hard, lol..how do u have any strength left for house cleaning back home? Love your video's. Do you all have to rent these allotments? I am from USA and not sure what an allotment is. Thanks for all your tips!

  • I'm a freakishly fast worker. I can't drink coffee with caffeine it makes me go hyper. But by the time 8 o'clock comes I've had it. If you want an allotment then you rent it off the council. It's your own choice. There is a video called "What is an allotment", have a look at that, it may answer your questions.

  • Are you not tempted to get a polytunnel or hoop-house as they seem to be called overseas

  • I would love one, but I don't have the room in the garden, and they now won't allow you to have them down the allotment because they are too big. One day I'll have the room to have a huge one, I'd spend all day in there.

  • I have been following your videos and have picked up lots of good tips, May I ask you a question where did you get your green house from. I havent got one at present but would like to get one like yors for next year

    many thxs

    powerspade

  • The one in the video can from B&Q. I also have another walk in greenhouse at home, and that came from Homebase. Robert Dyas do good small 3 or 4 tier ones. When getting replacement covers, DON'T get from wilkinsons as they break straight away, they are very cheap and useless.

    Hope that's of some help

    Claire

  • very good..please put on glove always...allright??

  • Thanks for that advise, will try at the end of the season when the shelves are empty.

    Cheers

  • diagonal braces going from the corners of the shelves in a z-pattern (like barn doors) will stabilize the shelf units quite nicely.
