My dad (who was finished with his three year Armee de l'Air stint as an airplane mechanic in Clermont and Nimes after "la Guerre d'Algerie") accompanied his dad (my other grandfather) Michel Aerts (who was a Chasseur a Pied lieutenant '39-'40, "Resistant de la 1iere heure", then a Chasseur again with Patton's army in '44-'45) to Weygand's funeral.
