I believe they're language-agnostic. Use whatever tools, language, technologies, model, that is best for the task; this includes developing new methods/technologies if required.

In my life I have found the more money a company has combined with lack of direction equates to interpersonal backstabbing at a terrific rate. How does Google stop the BS interpersonal politics? Does Google realize that this is a problem? Do they address it? Or do they ignore personal politics completely?
