  • Thats some bad basketball haha its funny how much it has evolved

  • remember this was a long time ago, the gome has changed A LOT, drivvling is completely different, like back then, a crossover was unheard of, the game is really different now its not that they were bad at dribbling

  • is that johnny most doing commentary? if it is, that's his seldomly heard "inside voice" lol

  • ball handeling... nt impressive

  • @Ball4aLivin HAHA i was thinking the same thing. they look ridiculous dribbling the ball.

  • back when this was the most skilled players.....

  • @TheSamps0n the most skilled players who looked autistic trying to dribble a basketball and souldnt even dribble oppo hand

  • was this before intentional fouling?

  • pretty pathetic ballhandling skills back then ô.Ó

  • They wore short shorts in the 50s-80s, not the 90s. 70s-80s basketball was the most rough era. Rockets player Rudy Tomjanovich nearly got killed in a game vs the Lakers in 1977 after Kermit Washington punched him in the face and broke his nose.

  • Fort Wayne, IN? Syracuse, NY? It's amazing how some of the oddest cities got NBA franchises back then...

  • Was this oppsosite day in the NBA or what? I count 9 white guys on the court.....

  • jesus christ a 5 year old dribbles better then these guys

  • they look like 6th graders trying to play basketball. just look at the guy lose it at 0:22. hahaha

  • they dribbled only with one hand

  • this looks like nba live 11 ;)

  • I like how in those days everyone would run on the court.

  • shoulda stayed in syracuse =I

  • OLD BASKET LOL!

  • the nba has developed A LOT

  • Lol it was funny.

  • It's amazing how the game is developing. These guys look ridiculous compared to players today. Even basketball played in the 90's (e.g. the Dream Team of 1992) looks inferior to today's...

  • @BcroG11. Gone too far man. The 1992 Dream Team would toy with todays NBA. If your talking athleticism then 1990 to present the NBA has been very athletic.

  • @BcroG11 uh 90's basketball was 10 time rougher than basketball today. maybe it looked funny in the 90's because they all wore short shorts

  • @llannert uh they never wore short shorts in the 90s, only the 40s-80s. 70s and 80s were also much rougher than the 90s

  • goofy white dudes? I guess Pistol Pete is goofy too. dumb ass making smart ass comments.

  • I'm surprised that the Ft. Wayne players didn't make more of an effort to foul after the turnover.

  • So did I, but it was 50 years ago soo..

  • 0:13-0:14 ahahah

  • they didnt believe in using the left did they?

  • In their defense, the palming rules used to be really strict. If your hand even touched the side of the ball, it was a turnover.

Still goofy white guys in their underpants, but that rule is part of the reason they dribble like that. It's hard to change hands if you can only touch the top of the ball.

  • ylt34c if youre really this lil bitch ass faggot named demarre caroll why dont you say it publicly

  • 0:13 exaggeration fail

  • LMAO i would cross the shit outta these bums!

  • You couldn't cross them NOW!

  • yeah rite u would think it's the ice capades the way i'd make em fall down

  • yeah shame you'd miss the shot though.

  • lmao no cuz i would dunk it! a crossover and a dunk would make me an instant celebrity in those days

  • Yeah?

Show me a video of you doing it.

  • lol u really think i can't dunk? i'm 6'5" and play at Mizzou

  • If you're that confident.

Are you on the University Team?

If you are, give me name, so I'll search you up.

  • carroll

  • So you're name is DeMarre Carroll?

Lol, I doubt that so much. There's absolutely no proof.

  • lol well u can. that doesn't change the fact that it's true. u were the one who asked so i told u. i can't help it if u believe or not

  • I doubt any College level player would be on Youtube arguing someone that doesn't believe him.

  • who's arguing? ur the one who started this. all i said was i would be an instant celebrity with a crossover and a dunk

  • but then aren't you already if you're leading missouri in points and assists?

  • a celebrity? lol here in mizzou and all over missouri probably and back at home but i'm talking about celebrity of all of america. we're only popular right around march madness when we win games

  • hey i live in Syracuse, NY! too bad that our college team can't keep up the franchise, they've been playing like garbage lately

  • shoulds like Johnny Most the old Celtics announcer

  • LOL this is before black people started playing basketball

  • Earl Lloyd was the starting power forward and Jim Tucker was a reserve forward for the 1954-55 Syracuse Nationals....thus becoming the first blacks to play on an NBA Champioship team.......

  • GOD if u watch these videos in order the beginning song is so annoying!

  • lol the foul lane looks like a penis

  • did u see how awkwardly shped the key was? the game has come along way

  • but that shape is why they called it the key

  • lmao but it kinda looks like a mic too
