  • @anonymous1336 Why not just get a Siberian Husky? More lovin' to go around =D

  • @zslam

lol i will after i finish my school exams which is really sooon :D

  • Can you tell me about this breed? I know they shed a lot but I also heard they don't like to get messy. Is this true? I really want to get one but my mum won't let me :(

  • this is a wonderful dog IF you have lots of time to give them.!!! they will be a problem if you leave them alone or crated for long periods of time. I bring mine to work so they can meet other people regularly. they are normally quite shy & loyal to their owners. Not really lap dogs... love to hunt & I run them about 3 miles a day. they need discipline & exercise to be a well rounded pet.

Miki is now almost 3 years old & doesnt shed much at all.. when brushed they are easily groomed good luck!

  • @umbleivable Thank you so much! I really hope mum comes round to my way of thinking x3

  • They may look like a miniature Husky or something, but I hear they have the energy of a full size one, so make sure you can give them enough exercise or they'll be unstable.

  • They are expensive O:

I loled when Miki slipped at 0:39

    xD

  • Cute dogs but they cost around 3K.

  • i want one, cute dog

  • i have a siberian husky and personally prefer sibes. but the klee kais are cute

  • The breeder i got mine from said they don't like to go to the toilet in areas they play in xD

  • sooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!

  • I got very lucky buying my AKK. She was a 18th birthday present. She cost 1600 and I will get 100 back when she gets spayed. She really doesn't have a temperment and she sits in my lap all the time and cuddles. She is very talkative and it is kind of funny to hear her. Mine is a miniature & short haired. I went to Huggable Huskies in Sweethome, Oregon. I drove 100 miles to get her though. I have grown up with huskies & a AKK is perfect for me.

  • So adorable. Where did you get him/her? We are looking for a dog just like this.

  • we got his from Serenity Cove in Md. you can look it up on the internet. Miki is adorable but is alot of work to socialize!! they are a bit tempermental & not lap dogs. But they r very smart & easy to train. does many tricks & never pees in the house. If you have the time a Klee Kai is a wonderful pet!! save up though they are between $2-3000. have fun

  • aww! im thinking about one getting one myself! thats not too bad of a price compared to how much other dogs are sold for now! soooo cute!! :]

  • WOW if you paid 2-3000 that breeder seen you coming. I paid 1600 with plane ticket. lol should have looked around, 1600 is the price range ive seen them in.

  • That's not necessarily true. A lot of the breeders who charge more have better health guarantees, and better quality puppies. A lot of them actually do OFA, CERF, CBC, and liver panels on their breeding stock. They also show their dogs in the UKC. So while I agree you should look around, don't just consider the price. Consider the health checks, consider the guarantee.

  • @MrUnreal23 it's not just about the price. it's about getting a dog from a breeder whom you trust and who raises the pups properly. You pay for quality. Though, I haven't seen any pups going for as much as 3,000. The most I've seen was 2,500.

  • Oh emm geeee.. so cute. I really want that breed and im getting it cuz my friends an alaskan klee kai breeder.BTW cute name. My name is Miki to .Lol wat a coincidence. ;)

  • Ahh! So cute! i really want one!

and they're so hard to find...!!!

  • OMGGGGG! THOSE ARE EXPENSIVE AND RARE!!! WHERE DID YOU GET YOURS?!? I want one!!!

  • we feel that Miki was a gift from God. We were looking for a black & white pup & there was 1 in Md. It was the only one within driving distance to PA. The mother had 3 & the 1st 2 died in the birth canal so for us to get the last one was a miracle. Yes they are rare but sooo worth it. Our breeders name is Serenity Cove.good luck!!

  • Hi Guys! I am an AKK breeder in Ca. I love seeing all the videos out there! Like any breed they have their own set of health issues so no matter who you buy from get no less than a one year health guarantee!

    Just google search

"Klee Kai of Del Mar" if you would like to see some of our dogs. I love these videos keep them coming!

    :) Aprilfawn

  • We got ours in colorado. You have to go threw an interview before you get one, and there pretty expensive. There awesome though, but you have to spend time with them to make them not run away from you like the big huskies do. (also good for walks, you'll get the ladies no time) ;)

  • lol

  • aww I want one!!

  • what a cute lil pup ... which breeder did u get him from? i've placed requests but so far no luck.

  • Yeah they're so expensive and hard to find. Lucky you.

  • Does he have heterochromia? :D

  • Are alaskan klee kai's hard to come by, i live in australia and i dont think you can get them here, same with russian toy terriers and alot of other breeds, where abouts did you get miki from?

  • Yes, they are hard to get. They are a fairly new and rare breed. The first breeders have been very responsible and selective in who they will let one of thei puppies go to, most will require that you fill out an application, do an interview, and then you go on a waiting list. A lot of trouble, but I wish more breeders were this careful.

  • all my hopes gone. I so wanted one of these but after reading your statements I doubt I'd be able to get one. I wish people did this with the more "dangerous breeds" to stop bad owners getting them. Though we can't stop dogfighting, be cool if all dog owners had to register their dogs with the gov. so if the dog was caught after fighting, just look at the microchip in the dog and then find the owner and sentence him to life!

  • actully the alaskan klee kai are rare but not a new breed they are actully pretty old less than the actull huskies but old they were just not bred as much as we would of liked they are amazing dogs though and pretty expensive and breeders are extreamly picky ive been looking for a breeder in ma for 3 years and i finally found one :)

good luck all of you but im sure if you go on google that youll be sure to find breeders of this breed in many states

  • i would call a breed from the 70's fairly new compared to most breeds.

  • @animallova267482 they were "unveiled" in 1988...so yeah, it's a relatively new breed.

  • OMGGGG :] so cute.

  • omg its soo CUTE!!!

  • i want one, i love spitz types

  • cute dog
