  • miss alot of sound rolands a little better it cute but roland vs2480s better

  • is it me or the metronome wasn't followed lol

  • @hayabusafmw The objective was not to play good. It was to show how to record using the Zoom. I did not pay much attention to playing.

  • My biggest problem is that I have no idea how to turn more than 2 buttons to record mode. When I press one to red (recording mode) it's OK but when I press next one in line for multiple tracks recording to red, the previous ones turn off automatically. How do you turn them all to red (recording) without getting some of them turned off themselves. Also, if recording keyboard mono instead of stereo, what difference would it make in final mix down if you put panning to the center position?

  • @svektor1 Before I explain let me refer to you page 13 and page 46 of the user manual. On page 13 in the picture please locate the [8 TRACK RECORDING] key. Before you press the [ON/OFF] buttons of the inputs you must press the [8 TRACK RECORDING] key. Once you do this then when you press one and then another one the first will not go off. I hope this helps but if I am not very clear turn on to page 46 and follow the instructions. Let me know.

  • @svektor1 press the two buttons at the same time

  • On Zoom HD16, how can I record 4 vocals, keyboard and the guitar at the same time?

  • @svektor1 In HD16 you can record 8 tracks simultaneously using the 8 inputs. Connect the vocal pics into the inputs 1 - 2 - 30 and 4 then connect your Guitar to input 5 and keyboard to input 6. Select the effects that you wish to use, then pres the buttons to put each track into recording mode which is red (or orange) Press play and record buttons to stat recording. The restriction is that if you assign pears of stereo tracks then you will only have 4 simultaneous events recorded.

  • How do you record vocals, keyboard and the guitar at the same time? I would like to record simultaneously 4 vocals, keyboard and the guitar (at the same time).

  • How do you connect your amp into the zoom hd8?

  • @FullmetalFan500

I understand why you are asking this question. Your amp may not have an output. My two amps (Marshall valvestate 30 W and Fender 50W Tube amp) both have an output. I connect my Guitar to the amp as usual and then the output of the amp to the input of the Zoom. If you don't have an output in your amp you have to use a mic. I also recommend a line 6 POD. With the POD you don't need an Amp.

  • @davidnayir thanks now i understand.

  • @davidnayir N WHAT TYPE OF MONITERS ARE THOSE?

  • @FullmetalFan500

Use a guitar cable. Connect one end to the amp output and the other to the Zoom. This week I will try to make a short video and show you in it.

  • good info brova, you play good too.....that would be good for you to make more vids on this HD, cause to be honest your the only one that does :-D...............peace, bless

  • Thanks ! Very helpful to a newbie like me.

  • @dagwoody

I am glad that I can help

You can get more instruction at my blog. The address is on the video.

  • whats the name of that music? i've heart it before....

ps: nice vid... its a shame that a nice product has the zoom becomes so expensive whit the import tax to brazil

  • @cvpuga

I took that part from a Beatles song called I want you. It comes at the end of the song and repeats many times.

I agree that it is a shame you have such high import taxes in US products in Brazil. I hope that Mr. Lula will reduce them making US products cheaper for the Brazilian consumers.

  • Zoom HD8 has 2 inputs. You can plug each guitar to one of them. You must press the on/off buttons simultaneously so that both are red. However both guitars will record on the same track. HD8 does not allow recording to more then one track at a time.

Zoom HD16 has 8 inputs and it is possible to record all 8 inputs to respective tracks 1 to 8 separately.

  • how do you record two guitars in the zoom?

  • @FullmetalFan500

Zoom HD8 has 2 inputs. You can plug each guitar to one input. You must press the on/off buttons to the 2 inputs simultaneously so that both will become red (Active). However both guitars will record to the same track.

Zoom Hd16 has 8 inputs and allows to record 8 instruments at the same time to 8 different tracks.
