@Gmain501 Shadow had the most glory moments in 06. He had his Chaos powers, had the most moves, kicks Silver, saves Sonic, and takes off his rings and owns the Mephiles copies. Shadow is the only person other than Mephiles who looked good in 06.
If you think about it realistically, there's A F***ING LOT of Sonic characters that could EASILY kill Sonic, take Silver for an example, he could just easily just, use his psychokinesis to grab Sonic, and snap his neck, smash the s*** out of him, rip him into pieces, and a large array of other things.

@ImmaBritannian How? Because of Sonic Rivals? Seriously though Silver is nowhere near as fast as Sonic. Sonic Rivals was American made so I would take any story bits from that with a bit of salt. Silver is only known for his ability to use esp, and anything more than that is overpowering him. It's clear from just about any standpoint that Sonic would win in a fight against him. Sonic's speed is just crazy. It would be nearly impossible to keep up with it.

What happened to sonic. It's like a racing game the platforming asset is gone he does not stop running. If you just mash the jump button you can win any level. Sonic adventure 2 is still the best sonic game and not even a semi decent sonic game has came out since then. That's sad....... Sega
@chimcharstar ummm wasn't the sonic vs shadow fight of SA2 a big race?... Sonic runs, it's how he saves the world. personally i find it awesome that you can experience how sonic would actually fight someone at high speeds for once. SA2 was great by far, but this does capture just how fast he can go
@chimcharstar Allow me to refute your claim. First: Sonic games have always been about speeding through a level as fast as possible: a race against the clock rather than an enemy. You only "race" in some of the boss levels, like this one. Second, even in the current games, it takes proper turning, boosting, and timed jumps to play well, not just mashing Jump.
Finally, if you want 2D-style platforming, it's in there when you play as Classic Sonic. I think some old Sonic games are unlockable too.
I just love how sonic is always prepared. Like in the beginning of this fight, he's just running along, and then multiple cars come flying at him and he jumps around then just blasts off running lol

They have two many edges on Sonic. Shadow has so many Chaos powers up the ass thanks to Sonic battle and Shadow the Hedgehog. And Silver basically is a person where if he catches you, you are dead. This isn't the first time Sonic's beaten enemies stronger than him. He beat Emerl because of plot as well.

@GGUNDAMFAN34 If Eggman can catch Sonic with a machine Silver can catch Sonic in his psychic grip. Sonic is very cocky and leaves himself open. When he first fought Silver he let himself open and Silver blasted him for it. You say one of Sonic's abilities is to be able to win against anything but now you're just using plot armor. That's like me saying Naruto can beat everyone in the Sonicverse because he convinces them to join his side because of his charisma.

@ImmaBritannian How? Because of Sonic Rivals? Seriously though Silver is nowhere near as fast as Sonic. Sonic Rivals was American made so I would take any story bits from that with a bit of salt. Silver is only known for his ability to use esp, and anything more than that is overpowering him. It's clear from just about any standpoint that Sonic would win in a fight against him. Sonic's speed is just crazy. It would be nearly impossible to keep up with it.

@GGUNDAMFAN34 Sonic Rivals 2 is canon because that's how Silver even fucking knows Sonic. Silver can still fly at around Sonic's speeds as shown in the game. If he catches Sonic he can tear him apart but that's out of character for Silver to do.

If you were reading, I never stated that Rivals 2 is non canon, I just stated that some story things will be a tad different for gameplay purposes. Sonic can still run Mach 1 which means that Silvers reflexes have to be quicker than a bullet to go against Sonic. If you want to think Silver can take Sonic in a fight than fine, I'm done arguing with you about it when you are clearly overlooking my points.

@NataliaNeeSama No he doesn't. He always has to find them. Also, it's out of character for Sonic to use Chaos control unless Shadow is involved. For example, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic 06. Sonic never uses Chaos control in the main series games again.

What happened to sonic. It's like a racing game the platforming asset is gone he does not stop running. If you just mash the jump button you can win any level. Sonic adventure 2 is still the best sonic game and not even a semi decent sonic game has came out since then. That's sad....... Sega

@chimcharstar ummm wasn't the sonic vs shadow fight of SA2 a big race?... Sonic runs, it's how he saves the world. personally i find it awesome that you can experience how sonic would actually fight someone at high speeds for once. SA2 was great by far, but this does capture just how fast he can go

@chimcharstar Allow me to refute your claim. First: Sonic games have always been about speeding through a level as fast as possible: a race against the clock rather than an enemy. You only "race" in some of the boss levels, like this one. Second, even in the current games, it takes proper turning, boosting, and timed jumps to play well, not just mashing Jump.
Finally, if you want 2D-style platforming, it's in there when you play as Classic Sonic. I think some old Sonic games are unlockable too.
