This sounds only a little different from your strategy, but application is everything.

Just in case you're not up on the acronym lingo,

qcc is "quarter clock C", where you clock the analog stick 90˚, this case being down to forward, and press Triangle.

hcc is"half clock C", where you clock the stick 180˚, this case being forward to back, and press Triangle

The leader skill combo is Geese's combo with all those extra commands to input (a.a.b.b.c.c.d.d.qcr(a's square, b's X, c's triangle, d's O, and r's R1/BO/Blow Out/Thrust Attack))

Now, to be fair, I'll give you some pointers.

Now, I see you use the qcc move a lot. It's good for deflecting most of Magaki's projectiles without too much trouble. Use this when you're at a distance trying to close in.

Beforehand, make sure you have a good amount of at least three bars in your skill gauge. This way you'll have room for the good stuff.

To close with Magaki, use the hcc move, then use eithe raging storm or latent raging storm

Finish him off with the leader skill combo
