Tina Arena is great in the studio - but nothing compared to her live in concert. If you ever get the chance do your ears a favour and see her! She is without doubt one of the greatest female vocalists of all time.

(for stevebrogo) Tina Arena has a good vocal range, and she's a beauty. She does this song better than Barbra. However, I noticed that she did not display that vocal power in covering Agnetha's (of ABBA)"The Winner Takes It All". Though her cover is also very good.

I'll agree that Barbra is unique and has a great voice. But, these two incredible vocalists kick ass on this particular song!!! Reminds me of nights when my previous band (all women) pulled off some amazing duets & harmonies. You have no idea how tough this job really is. Every night is different. So, if you ain't been there,(30+ years for me & still performing) don't even bother trying to understand it.

Where, in Australia? The Australian market is small potatoes, there's only 20 million people there. Tina's only worldwide success was with the single "Chains", over 10 yrs ago. In American it barely made the top 40, and the album didn't even crack the top 100. Since then, Donna has had considerable more success with her greatest hits albums, including a UK top 10 in '04.

In concert, Donna usually duets with her sister Mary, who has toured with her since the 70s. She sounds just like Donna, but not quite as good. If not Mary, club music sensation Kristine W would've been a good choice, her voice is well-respected and she idolizes Donna.

Sorry Tina fans, but Donna deserved someone better to duet with on this song. It was Sony's idea for Donna to sing it with Tina, as a way of promoting label-mate Arena to the American audience. But she's clearly inferior to Donna, so it sort of ruins it.

I agree on your comment. Yet we must admit the song is perfectly tune on both voices. Tina Arena migth get clearly behind by donna's powerful voice. I guess eny voice, no matter who, would be left miles behuind donna's. What do you think?
