Only people with who have no patience don't appreciate this song. When you listen to it there are a lot of subtle details that lend the song its meaning. If you only bother to listen there are deep currents of feeling running through each layer of sound. You probably just have ADHD or something, which is why you can't appreciate good music.
And "En Oria" speaks about Forgotten Realms stuffs I guess. Because the name of Umberlie is quoted as the queen of the deep... It's a deity of the Forgotten Realms (a world for D&D).
Fantastic drums section. Great massive and climatic sound wall :)
@Gamariel Pfft, the drumming lacks some good cymbal work. Go listen to Walknut, the drums are programmed and sound better than this. (use headphones, the cymbals come out clearer)
The riffing is superb.

@Shadowthrone08 Oi, don't knock ADHD; I have it quite bad and I love black metal. It has many many things for me to hear and focus on.

Such a shame that it's a huge pain in the ass to get your hands on a physical copy of Onyx. I'd love to support these guys.
senortubo 2 years ago
Yep, it's pretty hard.
But I have "A Fallen Unicorn" and "En Oria/Crucify Him", so I'm glad. ^^

@senortubo If you want help i can probs find a distro that stocks it.. I had no bother finding my copy, perhaps i was just lucky though.
