When Christ died and took upon himself the sins of the whole world, God was satisfied. Thats why the curtain in the temple that only the priest could go behind was torn in two. We now can go boldly to the throne of God oursleves and ask for forgiveness. Because Jesus is our High Priest we go to God in Jesus name..There's no more need to go through a priest.
