Such incredibly beautiful music and pictures and the helpful description

are wonderful gifts that lead us deeper into communion with God. I just wish John Ruskin hadn't described the Cathedral as "Gothic...clear of Arabian taint...Gothic pure... etc." Of course Arab and Muslim people are equal in the sight of God to all people, and mosque architecture is just as holy and good as church architecture. God sees our worshipping hearts. That's all that really matters.

I love this song, I have it on my itunes, I originally got it in Afghanistan from a friend along with many other classical type songs while on deployment, whenever we went out on a mission I would listen to this song as we traveled through the desert and mountains just admiring the emptiness and seclusion all around me romanticising about losing myself in my thoughts as I knew that i am an introverted person. Could you please recommend any other songs similar to this one, thank you.

@Desperadounico BTW, Amiens was the scene of serious fighting during WW1 hence the choice of music. It the main city of the Somme region.
