You obviously haven't watched the whole series. Yeah it starts out looking like a generic series... but it takes the original series and adds to it.

I'm a huge Cutie Honey, with the original being my favorite. But CHF isn't at all bad. It's certainly alot closer to the original series than The Live...

This = Cutey Honey gone Shoujo.

Which is to be expected. This version of Cutie Honey was the Successor to the Sailormoon series. Even with me being a huge Sailormoon fan, I still prefer a lot of ecchi when I watch Cutie Honey. This is cute for little girls and people who aren't too fond of the nudity in other versions of Cutie Honey.

This is Shin Cutey Honey's opening, year 1994. Cutey Honey Flash' (2004) opening is way better than all the others. I've never watched the anime, but I can say that 2004's anime is the best.

Come on now, don't hate. CHF isn't my favorite adaption, but it's very good. The storyline is very good, and has lot of Go Nagai's touch in the later part of the series. Don't like the fluffy opening turn you off.

BEST... ANIME... HEROINE... EVER!! I'm a die-hard Go Nagai fan, since I grew up in Puerto Rico. We saw Mazinger Z, Getta Robo, Koutetsu Jeeg and many more of his creations here, so you mention Go Nagai here in hushed, reverent tones. And Honey is one of my absolute favorite creations of his: sexy, tough and just plain kick-ass.

Another thing Sailor Moon fanboys fail to realize was that Cutie Honey was first introduced in 1970's Japan, while Sailor Moon was first introduced in 1990's Japan.

I think what people get mixed up with is that, after Sailor Moon ended its runin japan, CHF was what took it's timeslot, and also used alot of the same animators.

Actually in that one Honey and the police-woman have something going on cuz they make out and all *drools* Joking ^_^ But is true they make out and such, even thought after that she gets married and has a son.

Actually Flash did have alot of nudity, and fanservice. And it did a bit of violence too. Also, Flash isn't a "Sailor Moon ripoff", the original Cutie Honey series was meant to be a romantic shojo-y series before it lost it's timeslot.

Yes yes, I know Cutey Honey is practically the original transforming girl. (Though you put words into my mouth in that part) And it still shows shoujo-equese moments in the New Cutey Honey.

Shoujo is what young girls' anime is called, Sailor Moon is a well-known shoujo. The drawing style is different than other Cutie Honey series and the sexual innuendo is *seriously* toned down. Check out the other intros for Cutie Honey and you'll see what I mean. Where the other intros show breasts, this one shows cute guys ;)
