When does what God calls sin EVER turn into a marriage blessed by God? Man's laws may have allowed these two to unite in marriage but God didn't unite them. (Man's laws allow same sex marriage and abortion too but they are still sin too.) Bentley should do what the Prophet Amos told the children of Israel, "If you want the blessing of God back upon your life, leave the wife that caused you to get into error and sin and go back and do it God's way." Until you do it God's way you are in error.
If Todd would have truelly repentanted of his sin, I think he would have laid off ministry for a while. According to the Word, he is not fit to serve, but needs to get right with God first. Marrying a woman while he was still married with his wife is also something I cannot comprehend... How come people are still following this guy, are they that blind? I want to encourage anyone to pray for the ones who are still folowing his false teachings.

This can never be right for a minister. Everyone has weaknesses, but the right thing to do would be to be reconciled to his wife and children and never to have married Jessa. People do go through divorce, but the accountability for a minister is so much higher and especially with a world wide imfluence

What's worse about this video is that they are willing to face avoidable consequence but they are so intent on their lust for each other they're willing to sacrifice and face the consequence, I don't think that is right.
Forgiveness of these issues is not a problem, but you don't put someone like this back on the platform...it is a terrible example for others who come behind them. If a teller steals money from a bank, you can get restitution, but you are not going to put that teller back in their position. Todd is forgiven, but cannot be on the platform modeling this behavior
