i saw windstruck. in fact i saw it first before this. but if u watched this and windstruck closely, its different. she's drunk when they met, in windstruck she's very sober when they met. the only reason why it has references to windstruck is because its the same director. it isnt the prequel. search the internet if u want confirmation.

Remake is always tough as the whole crew challenging the great success of the precedants... Elisha Cubert certainly did fit into the role, and cute, hot and sexy.. however, I think it just wouldn't work as it's lacking a very important element of the original - Chauvinism. As Korea is a quite Chauvinistic country, that's why having a sassy girlfriend was so funny. US on the other hand, males and females are fairly equal in society... hence, just less funny...

Windstruck is the prequel to this movie. I'm just adding this comment to clear up the confusion. If you watch windstruck, at the end of the movie it is the same subway platform where this movie starts from. Also, if you look carefully at the end of Windstruck, you'll see Gil Woo walking by in the background.

no. that is sooo not true! it's not the prequel. cha taehyun just made a cameo appearance at the end of the movie. and yes they met on a subway but in my sassy girl, they met when she's drunk [she was even in college]. she almost fell off the platform but clearly, in windstuck she's sober when cha taehyun appeared. lol.

If you actually payed attention to Windstruck, there are alot details which wouldn't add up if it was a prequel to Windstruck. Like the fact she's a copy in WS yet only a college student in MSG. Or the fact when she meets him in MSG (the ex boyfriend) they're both on the train, not the platform and she's in her school uniform.

And please, learn some manners because the way you present yourself makes you look like an ignorant poster who thinks they're opinion is better then others.
