  • show your tummy girl, didnt you learn? your views will not triple they will be literally 100s times more!

  • i would watch your show

  • your good talking and cooking at the same time that's what they like!

  • Hey Elizabeth, I hope you make it to the Food Network, because my culinary friends told me that the food network show is the devil (which is somewhat true) and I hope that you will make it to make that change. It's about time that we find a cook that will help other viewers to stay healthy. Plus, you look natural on camera. :) If you don't make it, that means the food network casting agents are retarded; I mean, what the hell were they thinking for hiring Sandra Lee?!

  • Thanks for the encouragement. It is a difficult to get to the Food Network but there are other venues. I am hosting a show on an on-line network called BigIsGood.tv. Will be posting more videos there soon.

  • I think the problem isn't you - it's that you look too much like Sandra, and your "take" on cooking is very similar to two chefs already on their network.

Don't ever get down they haven't picked you. Remember the NFNS is a TV show and they are not looking so much for who will be the best Star, but rather a group of people that will make a great TV show - you have to have heroes and villains, good and bad, etc.

    Best of luck.

  • I tried out in San Francisco. I am curious who they picked for season 6. One thing I heard is that if you get an agent you have a better chance of getting past the casting agents to the decision makers. You're great on camera! Good luck and keep trying!

  • Thank you for your kind words and support.. There's more than one way to get there so never stop trying. Best wishes! -Elizabeth

  • Sixth attempt? You're really natural infront of the camera, better than a lot of those who actually made it and are ON the foodnetwork. Love the health and vitamin tips too related to the food.

  • Thank you so much. I appreciate the nice comments. Please view my video "Eat2Liv" which is my cooking show pilot found on my main channel. I think you'll really enjoy it.

  • I'm trying out too... who knows, maybe we'll both be on season 6!

  • Hey Tom,

Thanks for watching my video. Good luck to you. I hope you get on the show. I really encourage you to attend a casting call. There are no guarantees but it certainly ups your chances. Bes Wishes! -Elizabeth

  • I forgot to mention... your video is outstanding, one of the best I've seen!

  • Thank you so much. I also enjoyed your videos. Very informative. I love breadmaking but don't do it much due to a gluten intolerance. I need to learn to make gluten free breads. But thank you for giving such great information in your videos! Keep up the good work!

  • Hey Elizabeth, I'm curious if you ever heard anything?

  • Nothing yet. I won't give up hope until December. That's when they usually end accepting submissions.

  • great video! I am going to try your recipe! Good luck to you! I hope you make it on the food network. You have the personality and charm for it and the chops (your recipe is very creative and healthy!!).

  • I love your videos I hope you make it

  • Thank you so much! You are so sweet. I really appreciate the support and good wishes.

  • for 20 years? when did you start when you were 5?

  • I am 40, but thank you so much for the compliment! :-)

  • have you been eating healthy your whole life?

  • No. I only really started to change my eating habits when I was 18, when I began my education in Nutrition. Even as I was learning abouut nutrition I still ate "junk." But I find that the cleaner your diet, the less you crave anything "unhealthy." I have always been active though. I walk everywhere possible and always have. Also been lifting weights & doing some sort of cardio for over 23 years

  • What? I can't believe they don't have mangoes all over the US! Mangos aren't grow in CA.

  • I did not say that mangoes where grown in California. It just so happens that I never had one until I moved there. I am from PA. Growing up I ate mostly berries, apples and citrus fruits.

  • I've never lived in the northeast, but since you have, what have been the differences in vegetable availability between California and Penn? Could you make a video on this? I'm thinking that many veggies we Californians aren't available to you guys during the winter. Like can you guys get romaine lettuce during January?

  • I left PA in 2002 but I don't remember ever having a problem getting fresh produce even in the "off" seasons. Although I do advocate eating local, seasonal, fresh produce and organic if available, I also advocate eating lots of leafy greens year round. I believe Romain is pretty readily available all over the US since "lettuces" are the most popular "greens" in the country.

  • That boggles my mind. What about when it snows? I would imagine the veggies would be frozen and people would be picking and transporting frozen carrots and lettuce to the stores?

  • Go get em girl! You will win!

  • Thank you so much! I hope so!

  • Good luck!

  • Thank you for your well wishes!
