With stupid comments like "keep your point in line and you'll be surprised how often you hit".
And making strong comments about a call, then backpedalling when the ref disagrees.
This was shortly after the change in the FIE change to timing in foil that was supposed to minimize the flick. I'm not crazy about the commentators either, but whatever, it's enough to just sit back and watch :P
I don't agree, according to the rules in order for Ganeev's hit to be in time he needed to start it before the final part of Joppich's compound attack, and if you watch the replay Joppich had finished his feint before Ganeev started his counter-attack.
Brilliant series of videos, I felt as if it were happening right now, THankyou. The commentators didn't really seem to know what they were talking about though. They made a bunch of rather silly calls that made no sense. The ref's how ever seemed to be making perfect calls. Joppich also seemed a bit off his game. Thanks once again.

Well, I think Joppich was off his game badly during this, not what you'd like to expect from the reigning world champ. Ganeev looks like an up in comming fencer, although he blew the earlier lead, and didn't really look overpowering.
Wow!!! that was amazing. I cant thank you enough for posting that; Especially without the scores in the info. I hate it when the score are posted so you already know who wins. Thank you again. Another note I think Joppichs game was slightly off throughout the whole competition.
