  • Cool Fud. One of those might make a good Christmas present for my dad. Then I can also use it :P

  • It's a good buy. The tubes may be cheap ABS plastic. But the optics are good. Better than what Galileo had by a long shot.

It does take a bit of practice to focus properly. And a tripod or other mount is not optional.

  • It's a shame that most people don't see the night sky as it really is due to the lights here on the ground.

A view if the night sky on a "moonless" desert night. Is simply overwhelming. Thanks Fud.

  • My location isn't the best. While I could make out Jupiter's four big moons quite easily (as dots), the light pollution killed the stars. It's worst close to the horizon. That's where I was looking.

  • I very much enjoyed listening to this Fud. Loved the awe and amazement you were in :)

  • Thanks. It was awesome. And I mean that in the true definition of the word.

Imagine how Galileo must have felt being the first human being to see those things. I think I have a taste of how he felt now.
