The second Fable was a let down because people still confuse Lionhead with Eidos or Squaresoft. They improved on what they thought people wanted in the second game. The third one is a better looking version of 2. The fan base of Fable is so broad, that there is no way for them to develop a correct game without pissing people off. Albion as only place sucks to, but in 3 there's a new world. We'll see. Gotta broaden it up if you wanna make your skilled gamers happy

Nothing Molyneux makes lives up to the hype because Molyneux has all these unrealistic expectations for his programmers and the technology they're working with. I think he has these really cool ideas but consistently makes the mistake of saying "we WILL be doing this" instead of "We're trying to do this, but no promises", or better yet "we have some great stuff in store for you". And he never learns from his mistakes.

As far as RPGs goes, Fable sucks. A lot. I mean, a lot.

As far as freedom and exploration goes, it's quite interesting, but has millions of flaws.

Overall? I went to waste money on games. For freedom? Buy GTAIV, for storyline, go buy Final Fantasy XIII, or Star Ocean 4, or any RPG non-American, seen as they mostly, and overall suck with storylines, being as limited as pseudo-epic medieval settings, going for too-realistic and failing at it, or... Fable.

Well, the Xbox was about a year and a half old but it worked flawlessly until I put Fable 2 in. The system sounded like it was working REALLY hard. I Googled it and it people said they had brand new 360s that broke from this game. I think it's just that too many people were playing too big of a game at once so 360s were breaking left and right. You can continue playing Fable 2 after you beat it and not get board. When you beat Fable 1 and continue playing it gets boring very quickly.

Also the game is far larger and longer. But of course I miss the easy Demon Doors :(
