Squats and power cleans are good, but dont forget to do Leg Curls and Extensions and Speed Drills, and Jammers. PLEASE do Leg Curls and Extensions with balance with your squats because if you dont, your knees' ligaments will start getting weak. Bench press will ONLY help with your Chest. ok i am 11 year old and i want to be the starting tailback and bought sum spedd training stuff like a ladder,harness,rubber band (for harness),cones and hurdels. so can you tell me some drills for how to be the fastest,strongest,and that starting tailback.PLEASE COMMENT BACK.
ankle weights and weighted vests will help,too. wait a few years and start lifting weights.when you do,squats,power cleans will be your best bets at gaining some lower and mid body strength and explosiveness.also bench presses help with upper body strength.why i say wait on the weight training is that you are young and still in need of some physical development.
