why would your belay partner be belaying you at on a ledge without any pro. I am going to call out BS on this one. Im sorry, did I hear a salesman, or an bunch of noob climbers?

danballarina - you're right. When I first started climbing, I made some mistakes, just like all climbers do. We should have been more careful 11 years ago when this took place. If you're focused on the climbing story, however, you clearly missed the entire point.
