Please explain how the hell you're figuring $80-100K? I have a friend with a 4th gen. LT1 Camaro, who put on some alum. heads, 4340 13:1 pistons and rods, forged crankshaft. Ran a 300 shot of nitrous. All that for under 10 grand in parts. Although it's wrecked about 3 clutches, it's still accomplishable.

A TTGT runs w/ a stock BUSA for gods sake LOL FYI i would go with a 351 clever, which is the windsor motor but with the 351 cleveland 4v heads.... runs a lot better....

You're not specifying anything, turbo size, boost, intercooler type. Sure there's twin turbo Stangs out there that could handle a 1,000 horsepower LT1, barely any. There is a stock bottom end turbo cobra raping a Busa on youtube.. this FORD GT would rape a stock busa. There are many many 8 second street legal Cobra's running around Miami... it is this simple,turbo busa's have the standing mile record at 262, the funny part is they are running 252 in the half. I own a cobra myself and think it is a great car, but there is nothing on the street that can stop the mighty busa at full boil, I also own a zx14. Busa's are also striking the 700whp range on race gas if not more by now. They are so light on the street cars don't compare.

Ever heard of Gumpert Apollo or the Ascari KZ1. And if talking in pure performance and ignoring comfort what about the Atom 500, almost as powerfull engine as a Ford GT but only a third of the weight.

That said I do adore the Ford GT and it's huge tuning potential, but there is other cars I rather own.
