I always loved this song. The first time I heard it was in the 80s on my Walkman (remember those?) when I was walking around Boston late one night in the fall. I was walking through the Public Gardens and it was just PERFECT listening to this. Thanks for bringing back a GREAT memory:)

i did dishes at a restaurant called Amigos, & this song was playin' on my little radio in the back. My memory, anyways, was of this waitress that would come and bring me dirty dishes. i don't remember her name & i never talked to her, but fell in love right there on the spot when she walked in & this song was playin'. her movements were precise enough for me to remember that everytime i hear this song. Eat shit, Bob Barker!!!!

I first heard this song in a German Disco back in '84. The place was called The Stop In. A great place for American soldiers and German girls to meet. Now 27 years later I can see, feel and hear all the people talking in broken English and having a great time. Thanks a lot. Funny thing is...I'm an old rocker and actually hated disco. But...this is a "time machine" song.
