I always loved this song. The first time I heard it was in the 80s on my Walkman (remember those?) when I was walking around Boston late one night in the fall. I was walking through the Public Gardens and it was just PERFECT listening to this. Thanks for bringing back a GREAT memory:)
i did dishes at a restaurant called Amigos, & this song was playin' on my little radio in the back. My memory, anyways, was of this waitress that would come and bring me dirty dishes. i don't remember her name & i never talked to her, but fell in love right there on the spot when she walked in & this song was playin'. her movements were precise enough for me to remember that everytime i hear this song. Eat shit, Bob Barker!!!!
I first heard this song in a German Disco back in '84. The place was called The Stop In. A great place for American soldiers and German girls to meet. Now 27 years later I can see, feel and hear all the people talking in broken English and having a great time. Thanks a lot. Funny thing is...I'm an old rocker and actually hated disco. But...this is a "time machine" song.
Toler Song aus längst vergangener Zeit, find den Song von Raff aber auch super hab zwar nie verstanden warum damals beide Versionen zeitgleich erschienen sind aber mann muß ja nicht alles wissen :-)
@urmo345: In that case, congratulations. I for one had never had the drive to finsh a single Grand Theft Auto game at 100% completion. Speaking of Vice City, I always love to hear this song after Michael Jackson's legendary song, "Billie Jean."
@Loader2K1 I hear that. I was almost finished completing the pizza boy side missions and one of my last deliveries was in side of a store that had no access. I was working on that for over an hour, I was furious.
BEATIFUL !! LOVE IT

@Loader2K1 Finishing Vice City 100% is almost impossible, it's a glitch nightmare.
enerjon777 7 months ago 4
@enerjon777: I can imagine. The only glitch I came across was one that made the game move at 60 fps, but screwed up picture.

This is such a great track. The accompanying video was directed by William Friedkin, of "The Exorcist" and "The French Connection" fame.
RIP Ms. Branigan.
