  • What power station was knocked out because of an Aurora Borealis surge ?

  • @OPOCHKA your dads

  • hen man turns on their destruction weather machines HARRP (one of the largest is in Alaska) to cause earthquakes including the ones in Japan and tornados and huge hurricanes to cause people to fear and submit to government, these aurora lights you see go crazy every time. God does not like it when man tries to destroy His planet or people. Research this.

  • ArchangelMichaelGod : Aurora is God Glory in My Christmas (Michaelmas).

  • Archangel Michael: Avrora is God Glory in My Christmas (Michaelmas).

  • Archangel Michael: Avrora is God Glory in My Christmas (Michaelmas).

  • HER VOICE RUINS THE WHOLE THING

  • @singlexfilexisxlove JAAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA yeah

  • @raperitoenamorado1 You sound suspiciously like hitler.

BTW, if you love auroras (and every wonder of nature for that nature), love the One (not three, 'tis aint YouTube) Who made it.

  • makes you feel bad that we treat this earth like shit when it does beautiful things like this.

  • Needs Cammy theme for this.

  • There are also a huge amount of people who thinks scandinavia is the capitol of europe - pls excause them. I Cld go for a capital in a country...or a state...but, maybe all betterweisers here could educate me more about my country....going through all the materials reg the videoes here - please be surten you can document all this beauty!! Don`t manipulate through lenses and think you can earn from it!! It piss me off

  • Why did 36 people dislike this ? , It's just Eduction . How can you hate a video with no emotion exept informing , people Smh

  • What?

  • i love it

  • Aurora borealis disproves the nuclear gravity space theory and immediately proves the electromagnetic space theory. Look it up, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  • Очень красиво:)

  • If I saw this in real life I would instantly become the double rainbow guy.

  • DAMN!I would love to see that.

  • HAARP

  • 36 people are seriously just miserable people because there is no reason to dislike this video...........-.-

  • I'd like to see the Aurora Boreanaz.

  • This is the most beautiful wonder of your beautiful world.

This is the power of nature.

  • happens all the time in canada, everynight actually...depending on where you live i once even seen them in the upper northern of ontario

  • it's the Inner sun. earth is not a full ball.

  • Seeing it on video is nothing compared to seeing it in real life.

  • yea i made that.

  • i bet that cant be good for humans to be near...

  • I'm trying to figure out how to teach this to fifth graders. Hmmm...

  • -Superintendant Chalmers: "Aurora Borealis, at this time of day, at this time of year, in this part of the country localized entirely in your kitchen?"

    -Prinicpal Skinner: "Yes."

-Superintendant Chalmers: "May I see it?"

    -Principal Skinner: "No."

-Mrs. Skinner: "Seymour, the house is on fire!"

-Principal Skinner: "No mother, it's just the northern lights!"

  • @Dome89x What's that from?

  • @Dome89x That is exactly what I thought of when clicking on this video. My favorite episode,Classic!

  • I saw the weirdest Aurora Borealis tonight in Ottawa, Canada... at around 1 30am they were really bright orange, bright white and bright light blue... they didn't look like the usual, it actually looked like light beams going into the forest behind my house like aliens were up-ducting something... it made me think twice at first... but it was really cool to experience something like this! wish someone could have joined me for a nice fatty ;)

  • In norway its green

  • Its time to wake my friend and realize the the Earth is a living entity and just like you have an Aura around you body, so does Earth, and I am not a kid

Do you not find odd, the the two words 'Aura- Aurora' are so similar?

  • 'Charged particles fro the Sun enter the Earths magnetic field'......bla... bla Your theory is wrong. 'Aurora' is the Aura of this Planetary body we call Earth and rises from within the core of the Earth from an opening in the north pole. The Sun has nothing to do with the illumination as seeing in the dark sky

  • live in sweden. seen it loots of times its cool

  • @jarlz0r Just enjoy the video!

  • 36 aliens that live on a different planet are jealous.

  • the way it moves, is that time lapsed or does it really move like that?

  • @FOATE When I was little I usta actually think it was the reflection of the light bouncing off the water/glaciers in Alaska up into the sky. It kinda looks like water rippling in the sky. I think that is time lapse tho? iv never seen it move that fast.

  • Seen it a couple of times. It's really quite beautiful:)

  • ok what in the world is there to DISLIKE!?

  • @xochrisbreezyox westboro baptist church and the phelps family, for starters.

  • I live in Tromsø, Norway... not that rarely visible up here :P

  • Beautiful....

  • i live in iceland so i can see them almost evvery winter i love them (*.*)

  • I grew up taking them for granted, it seemed perfectly natural to look out the window of my bedroom at night and see them. Now I live too far south and haven't seen them in years. I miss them.

  • SUBHANALLAH,,,,,

    MAHA SUCI ALLAH SWT,,,

    b(^,^)d

  • i must see this before i die

  • having been raised in NW Ontario - these were wonderful and some times you were able to hear them crackling - one of the things missed most about there

  • in what part was probably taken the video of this ? cuz not in all places WHERE is visible the aurora borealis, is showed as the full space as the video is !

  • would it burn a balloon if you fly trough it?

  • this is why we need global warming to stick around

  • @monkeyuncle9 what are you talking about? we need global warming to do what? The magnetic field of our poles deflects the solar wind which would otherwise strip away our atmosphere. Global warming doesn't protect us the magentic poles do, you idiot.

People like you shouldn't be allowed to have computers to pollute the minds of other idiots like yourself. Go away and study physics for five years or so. You idiot.

  • @exchangeisno Lol noob.

  • @monkeyuncle9 noob?

  • @kid43332 yeh the whole reason you can see the light is because it travels through parts of the ozone layer that are weaker than others. Global warming causes the weakening of the ozone layer.

this was a response to exchangeisno's statement saying that global warming has nothing to do with it and that I was an idiot. top 2 percent in my state

  • @kid43332 ok. but not everyone is as knowledgeable about these types of phenomena...

  • I remember 6 years ago when I was in 4th grade, I was at a halloween hay ride at a church, and the sky was lit up at a bright orange color while it was going on 10PM and everyone was wondering what it was and later on the news they said it was the aurora borealis, it was one of the most amazing things I've seen in my life, and the fact it happened in PA

  • Sounds like they should hook up the northern powerlines to a pile of storage batteries and make some use of this phenomenon!

  • i saw this before its amazing only the ones i saw had a green tint to them

  • also on my list before i die

  • imagine sitting on a hill with your best friends smoking a dooby looking at this beautiful gift of nature...

  • @samrollup I dont want to smoke. Its destroying the nature.

  • @eisblumestella smoking weed is the smallest problem on the earth comparing to factories and other corporations.

  • @samrollup

yeah, but secondhand smoke often causes deaths of non-smokers.. so yeah, that is destroying nature, since we too are part of nature..

  • @samrollup hahaha smoking a dooby

  • @samrollup Or haveing a city dedicated to smokers, and just puff in your own house sitting on your porches watching this?

  • @samrollup I wish I'll have a chance on that someday...

  • @Sapiossss lets make a plan n connect some stoners to do this every once in a while !

  • @samrollup I hope it's viewable from Netherlands, otherwise it's a bit difficult! ; )

  • @Sapiossss haha i know for sure you cant see it from here but i head north every now n then :D

  • @samrollup That sounds nice, minus the smoking part. XD

  • @KaitoAisuLover I second that

  • @samrollup shut the fuck up son

  • The United States Will See aurora borealis Tonight Following Solar Tsunami

  • @HistoryTours I CANT WAIT!!! i live in Ontario, Canada.. so i guess we are going to see it to depending on where u live...

  • maschaallah !

  • Nice little informative video. I've always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis, even if it means braving the snow drifts of Alaska to do it. Ah, it isn't anything I haven't dealt with before, being a Michigan native. I got it all planned: plenty of blankets that I'll take to the well heated, rented cabin on Bear Lake (which is supposed to be a great spot) telescope for general stargazing, and about a dozen different cameras to document the experience. Then probably back to YouTube and make a vid.

  • @chainbluelightning1 That would be astonishing.

  • @chainbluelightning1 don't forget the quarter ounce of psilocybin mushrooms

  • fantastique

  • I grew up in Nome, Alaska and the legend there is that if you whistled at the lights they'd come down and take you away. We used to tempt fate and whistle at them and then run inside as fast as we could.

  • I wish I could see one once in my life... So wonderful!!!!

  • a natural emp wave...hmmm i wonder what else we learned from nature

  • Comment removed

  • I saw them a few times as a kid

  • this is amazing...i have seen this fenomen last year..it's wonderful..first time i tought that is some aliens but now i know this is aurora borealis...that happend in my country ,in Roumania

  • So surreal!

  • it's beautiful, hope something like that could be seen not only at the northern region but around the world also.

  • I've seen Aurora Borealis in South Finland when i was about 5. Im now 16 and i haven't seen these for loooong time. I have a small flashback about that :) Theres no so much Aurora Borealis in finland nowadays :(

  • i want to see it sooooooooooooo badly!

  • so wonderful,. 0:27 -0-40,. I wonder if there are angels in there,.

  • @idealoser i dunno but there sure is a lot of maths in it ha

  • @idealoser oh so when she distinctly said "charged particles from the sun" what she could have meant is that maybe it's made of sugar and spice and everything nice?

  • @jiggymonkey hmmmm Sugarrr and Spice?,. aahhh must be a warmth feeling with a bittersweet ending ,. (^_T) lol

  • She sounds very bored over such an exciting thing.

  • wow cool, very interesting

  • we just got the most rare one in north caroline at night today tuesday april 27 2010

  • @zezima12301 u r lucky enough that u got to see such a natural show. from nowonwards i wuld be longing to see dis natural enigma along with amazon forests.

  • My dad actually got to see this in TENESEE!

  • The explanation given here is outdated and wrong. There seem to be serveral mechanisms responsible for auroras, some of which are not yet properly understood.

The most intuitive of the mechanisms is that of magnetic reconnection: Earth's magnetotail (a long loop of magnetic fields pushed away from the sun by the solar wind) is squeezed by the interplanetary magnetic field until opposing field lines snap together. This releases energy, which produces aurorae.

  • @jarlz0r bullshit

  • @jarlz0r not to mention nobody has ever really been to the top of the north pole and the governments of the nations dont allow explorations by palanes or boats to the north pole so nobody really knows whats up there.

  • @poxflaza

Complete bullshit. The location of the North pole changes from year to year as earth's magnetic iron core fluctuates. There are multiple teams that have been tracking it for decades. You could travel there yourself. It's currently at about 82.7°N 114.4°W and moving toward Russia. As for the geographic north pole, no one's preventing you from reaching that either, except for the fact that it's in the middle of the arctic ocean. Tourist companies will fly you in if you like.

  • @poxflaza elves.

  • I seen This a few weeks ago, It was the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have EVER seen, It was at 3 in the morning, I tried waking up my parents But they didnt wake up and I'm the only one who saw them.

not right now! Thanks though! peace

  • I call shennigans on that one.

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • so where can i go see this stuff?

  • the best places to see auroras are near the magnetic poles. These include areas of northern Greenland, the Scandinavian coast, Siberia and Alaska in the north, and Antarctica in the south.

  • OK NICE ONE THANKS.

  • Comment removed

  • it just beautiful

  • So beautiful! Thank you!!

  • we can see this on the south side of the planet ??? sorry m english isn´t good

  • @fernando2056

In the southern hemisphere there is a similar thing called the Aurora Australis. Since there's a lot less land and less people in the southern hemisphere it's less well known, but it's just as beautiful. You can see it in southern Chile and Argentina, southern Australia, New Zealand, and of course Antarctica.

  • @dcarr11 funny i live in Australia and i have seen Aurora Borealis i have 3 videos of it

  • @rachelmary2008

It's kind of splitting hairs but the Aurora Borealis just can't be seen in the southern hemisphere no matter what. what you've seen is the Aurora Australis aka the southern lights. They are the same thing except one occurs around the north pole and the other around the south pole.

  • @dcarr11 so they are the same one is northern and one is southern

  • me gustaria que alguien me aclarara si esto salemente se ve en el norte y si es asi porque ?

  • solamente se ve en el norte ????'

  • wow.. es algo hermoso

  • Be warned! Glow in the dark plastic stars have falling off of ceilings. After buying glow in the dark plastic stars stick them on the ceiling in spots away from areas of where you & others might rest.

  • @ Kiwi663 mee too ! i wannah lay in tha snow && watch them with my Loved one <33

  • eso k riumas en español k no entiendo

  • Its on my bucket list too!!

  • This is on my bucket list. to see it.

  • how beautiful nature is and how we are able to still ignore and destroy it....

  • it must be beautiful to sit in the snow at night and look up to the sky and see those beautiful lights :)

  • Sueño despierta que un día contemplare esta CREACION DIVINA
