  • Thats either a boar or a werewolf.

  • thats a boar

  • I filmed this in Africa, its a lion. I called him Phillip.

  • Ummm it runs like a horse, umm it has a mane, and oh yeah its on Dartmoor. I could be wrong ... but a Dartmoor pony?!!!

  • looks like a wild boar not a fuckin cat

  • the big cat. the panther thats been poping up all over britain.

  • its superimposed clowns thats y the cameras so blurred lol look at the outline of the animal as it runs

  • Looks like a lion, But could be anywhere.

  • Why would a "filmmaker" have equipment this crappy?

  • Why would a "filmmaker" have equipment this crappy?

  • A LION !!!??? LOL !!!! LMFAO!!! IT IS A BOAR!! and not a lion...it's on Dartmoor not on the Serengeti plains and A boar isn't a bull!! Jesus back to basics with this one!!!

  • There are tons of reports in GB of out-of-place big cats, from them being released when illegally owned as pets. Do some research, and you will see this.

  • Looks like a lion to me as well. Doesn't run like a bull at all. Lion. No question in my mind.

  • its a lion ! no is not a pig see its head ! close to the legs and long teal! not a pig

  • it looks like a wild boar. i like boar. its tasty. sos squirell. and chicken

  • that does look like a wild boar, and your lucky to see one, they aint that common in the uk

  • It's a Zergling, Lester... smaller type of Zerg.

  • it isn't a lion or the beast of dartmoor, or fake what you are seeing is a BOAR, which are pretty common and good size one at that!!!

  • a boar with a mighty great tail?

  • yes i am telling you that it is a wild boar, and yes boars do have tails!!! and wild british boars are that big....very rare to see but they are there...

  • Yeah, but that tail's at least a foot long.

  • I agree, you can hear the sound of hooves hitting the rocky terrain, it is either a black British boar or some kind of live stock such as a bull.

  • yeah agree with you mate, boars are quite common but a rarity to see a biggen like that, as you said a black boar thats it....

  • I know boars can be big (heard of some sighted when I was in Germany that were scary. BUT, that looks like a LION. Runs like a lion, shaped like a lion. No way I can believe that is a boar.

  • How are you willing to call that BLURRY pic a lion? Occam's Razor. Calling this a lion is ludicrous.

  • It's only a little blurry, first off. Second, the shape is that of a lion. Third, the movement is that of a lion. Fourth, being nearsighted, I am better at figuring out blurs that some people, lol!

  • This is a lion! And this place is in Africa!

  • its either some overgrown boar (they can grow manes and run very fast) or some black lion.ive heard of lions and panthers being spotted, maybe a cross breed

  • looked a bit like a male lion??

  • Fake

  • Because whatever these things are, they take the camera operator by surprise. This is not the sort of thing you're expecting to see.

  • Why are these sighting videos always bad quality?

  • It could be a genetic mutation of some kind.

  • pony or lion.??.. or a hybred

  • Hakuna Matata!

  • Looks like a boar but the tail seems a little long.

  • I know people that have seen a panther in the woods in Herefordshire

  • it's a poodle

  • it was a wild boar the big kieler (male) can grow a mane and will run like that if threatentened they have strong back legs so sort of fro themselves forward and anyway boar like forests and not open country

thats what i thing but im probably wrong

  • its a damn lion, if a bit muddy but still its a lion, you can see the main bouncing around and the ball of fur on the end of its tail

  • Hahahaha

  • i think it looks like a wilderbeast......see the back hump, and it runs like one

  • that was my thought lol,not a dog,or a cat

  • Maybe I watched to many nature shows as a kid..lots of wilderbeast footage..ad they have a shaggy "mane"

  • I don't think its a boar, Its too hard to tell if you look how a boar runs it kinda trots...look how that thing runs it leaps like a cat. meh Im not sure and Im no expert but its not a panther/puma, its more than likely gonna be a leopard that was probably once someones pet.

  • wtf is a lion doing in england?

then again my sister saw a black panther by our house in the country

  • looks like a lion....

  • that realy looky like a rabbit!

    the size can deceive!

  • Panther? It doesnt run like a boar more ... cat like

  • its definetly in britain but im not sure wat it is looked like a male lion at first but didnt seem to be moving like a male lion? not sure lol

  • OMG

  • my first thoughts were a lion...but after reading comments could be a boar...although the tail is too long and the front end too heavy for a bore!!

  • Wish it was a boar, but boars have MUCH smaller tails that they carry upright when running (if you can put aside the morals, Google hunting boar with dogs and watch some video). This animal has a supple spine and a long tail which it's using as a counter balance.

While it does look exceptionally leonine, there is far too little definition in the video to be conclusive. Hopefully it's a dog that someone's shaved up for a laugh or, if it is a Lion, it wasn't filmed in the UK!

  • I might be wrong how big is a boars tale? because I think there small, and thats got a big one, but anybody that claims to of seen a big cat on the moor's never say's it has a main, that has one.

  • My first thought was that was a boar, and it is, and theres a few going about in that part of the country, still good ive not seen one but my brother had a large black cat jump out in front of him on jublee park in leicester, just about a foot away and my mate + a couple of others at six in the morning saw one on the way to to a farm, neither reported it and I believe them.

  • any idiot can see its a lion at full speed filmed by a shit camera

  • ummm...hate to break it to you guys,but... THATS JUST A BIG PIG!

  • having worked with pigs, i can honestly say this is not a pig.

plus, common sense dictates this is not a

    porker.

  • piss off, doesnt even move like a cat in the slightest. Its a large dog or a boar.

  • Very clever cinematography.

  • Jesus christ man,

    You Got It!

  • Agreed.

  • Amazing!

  • the comparison of the speed of the movement of the animal and that of the camera relative to the ground dont match

  • well its clearly not standing still

  • Any "Black Lion" pubs nearby?

  • Thats a lion

  • thats a lion king chasing his killer brother.lol

  • it's the fucking beast.

  • That's not a boar you can tell by it's movement that is a lion

  • wild boar

  • woah weird

  • its a fuckin rabbit u idiots

  • rabbit?...jeesh, there must be some bloody big warrens somewhere on Dartmoor i wouldnt wanna fall down.

  • No you would'nt those rabbits are huge snarly things but I think Wallace and Gromit are getting the upper hand.

  • lol...

  • kind of looks like a lion

  • looks like a wild boar.

  • THAT IS GNARLY SHIT

  • WHAT THE HECK IS THAT! :)

  • I..think it's a RAELLY big cat...
