There are strange phobias out there but people are afraid of different things and I have done pyshology to know it's past scary experiences in peoples lives that make them afraid- i have a similar phobia as the sleep one and have had it for 5 yrs since a school trip and it has cursed my life from sleep overs and holidays, not that i don't do them i just worry so much the worst comes to worst and I vomit. My elder sis laughs at me for it cause she doesn't understand, i hate it.

Besides the phobias, it is funny that they have chosen to give each of them a fancy scientific name, as if they existed as separate medical entities or something. Perhaps one day they will discover the genetic mechanism that makes the fear of pencil sharpeners distinct from the fear of Celine Dion. What do you think the latter condition is called? Or is it interpreted as the fear of turkeys being strangled?
