  • Dont take this the wrong way

But arent you a lot better on a shovel.... Just thinking

Whats your deal your on a dif piece of quip each time i watch a vid what gives?

You a o/o or a contract worker scab?

  • @farlinj

    Hmmm... some interesting questions.

To the first question: depends on what I had for breakfast.

To the second question: depends on what machine I'm operating that day.

    To the third question: Neither.

One comment to you: I've worked for several different companies over the few years that I've been uploading videos here. That's part of the reason for all the different machines.

  • and I thought you were going to use a matchbox or a toy car lol

  • @heartland96a

    Who knows? Could happen...

  • im 15 and have been running my grandpa's old Case 580K backhoe and JD 450 B dozer since i was about 10 and each time i climb on it makes me happy

  • pussy, i wanted to see that car crushed, PUSSY

  • You need a camera mount!

    Otherwise nice video.

  • Got one now - just no dozer to go with it - lol!

  • im 14 and ive been running one of these for my uncle for a year now i love it

  • i run a komatsu d 39 im 11 but my dad has a construction company just a bout the same size as this one

  • lucky, i live in michigan and you cant legaly operate any type of machine like a lawn mower or a dozer for a job

  • @Ridered754 what are you talking about?

  • He means he's too young.

  • @jd410j im saying i cant legally have any job until i am 16 here in michigan. i can do it 'under the table', but that is illegal.

  • gotcha.

  • I have a 650LGP, which is the same thing as the 450, but has a bigger engine, I think!

  • the 650 is just a little bit bigger

  • yep.

  • thats the same size as my dads dozer i run

  • Excellent video. I have a 450 sitting in the yard I have never used and will grading / spreading dirt very soon. Thanks for shooting this....

  • Thank you for the video, this is cool. I am a laborer/grade checker for a grading crew and I really like the job.

  • i just got do usin a 550h nice dozer

  • Is your main job a heavy equiptment operator?

  • Pretty much.

  • im actually going to school at the moment learning how to drive the heavy equiptment.

  • is there a float on the blade? I can operate a dozer but i have never gotten the forward rolling flat or level blade operation. In other words i am able to move piles of debris or dirt but not level it - i am not an operator but i would like to know the secret to it

  • I only operated this cat on one small job, and never got around to seeing if it had a float on it.

At any rate, I'm not a dozer specialist; I'm more of an excavator guy. But as far as leveling and grading, I just keep a close eye on the blade and what I'm pushing, and the rest is by feeling the feedback of the machine and listening to the engine, etc.

    Continued...

  • To riceski - part II:

I don't think there's any real secret to it, riceski; it's more a matter of practice, practice, and more practice - lots of time in the operator's seat.

If you can, try to find a good operator who can coach you on this, out on the field. You may have to pay someone to do this, if you can afford it. Otherwise, a course at a local operating school can help, if it isn't some schyster school.

    Good luck!

  • Thank You. I am a wrecker driver now but if I ever need it this info will for sure come in handy.

  • I'm a Deere man myself , But I prefer the CAT's when it comes to small Dozer's. We've got a 450-H at my work, But I like the CAT-D5 better . My brother always says to me " Gonna run the kitty cat today Dave " Lol!!!

  • ran a little short getting to the 2nd pile of stone didnt ya ha ha

  • Y'mean the one that disappeared just before I got to it? Yeah - aliens took it.

I still don't know what they wanted it for.

  • good machine it's like the case and cat dozer's

  • Nice vid.

  • I've never seen grey dirt like that.Around here it's mostly brown and red.

  • It wasn't native dirt, but a few truck loads of 3/4 inch minus road mulch that we had delivered to the site. Around here, the dirt is in a lot of different colors.

  • Sounds like Martian dirt. Be careful; there may be aliens in it.

  • "I couldn't bring myself to do it, guys!"

  • what did u say at the end i could not hear
