I loved this program! I also liked the main show, Yogi's Space Race. I also love the voice work as well:
Daws Butler: Yogi and Huckleberry Hound
Mel Blanc: Quack-Up
John Stephenson: Captain Snerdley and the villain of this episode
Joe Besser: Scare Bear
Stephenson's "Captain Snerdley" voice is based on actor, Joe Flynn. He used that impression for other characters in a lot of cartoons.

@ACcountryFan - So it wasn't just a coincidence that Quack-Up's voice sounded a lot like Daffy Duck's! LOL

It was one of three package episodes from Yogi's Space Race. The other two were The Buford Files and Galloping Ghost.

Was this produced due to the Star Wars craze?
TIPTON340 2 years ago
Yes. It was produced one year later after Star Wars, if I'm not mistaken.

The actual title card for "Yogi's Space Race" resembles the design for the Star Wars title card in the movie.
@HereticsMustBeBurned It was. Star Wars was in '77. This premiered in September '78.

Respond to this video... Notice the generous use of the spaceship takeoff, flight and landing sounds from Star Wars.
