Slightly off-topic, but I can't help but notice how much Diablo III looks like World of Warcraft. I don't mean just the art style, mind you, but the engine itself looks like a modified WoW engine. Then again, all things considered, isn't World of Warcraft itself derived from Diablo (gameplay only, completely seperate lore), which was derived from The Summoning and its ilk?
@JosephCollins If you look at old Alpha/Beta screenshots of World of Warcraft, it bears a strong resemblance to Diablo 2. It would seem to me that Blizzard likes using each game as a stepping point for the other, so I don't think it's just you seeing it.
