Its a good song, very New Order. If people think it sounds like the cure its because they tried to sound like New Order, something Robert Smith openly admits.
Uhhh...This in no way sounds like The Cure folks. Is it possible to have a song on Youtube without reading like 5,000 comments that are painfully painful? Just listen to the song..maybe say how much you like it..or ask a question about the band. Rather than this stupid diatribe of idiocy. Harder and harder to have faith in humanity. Thumbs Up if you agree.
hahaa this is indeed Modern English. Just because it isn't the direct recorded version, maybe live, or on another album, doesnt mean its not them. Good try though. =]
-ahem- Moron. his is the original Modern English version. Ah, but what can be expected from a Beatles groupie? Taste? Knowledge of music? Ability to date periods in music? No. You have illustrated that these minor virtues could not be expected from a Beatles groupie. Let it be. Don't bring me down. Koo Koo ca-choo. Moron.
@beatlesluv69 AHEM...you're a f*cking idiot. I was around when this first came out, this IS Modern English.
It's the version of the song that was featured in the movie "Valley Girl". The Cure NEVER released a version of I Melt With You. Modern English released MANY different versions of this song. This is the very first version.
@beatlesluv69 eh...wtf is that and where did it come from? idk where you've ever heard of The Cure doing this song, not only does this singer not sound like Robert Smith at all but the style (this is new wave whereas The Cure are straight-up alt rock) is completely unlike The Cure...lol music fail.
Great!
