I never said I was at a protest. I was at a town hall. The only protest I have ever been to was a union march to protest unfair treatment. I have seen elected officials refuse to take questions that the answers reflected unfavorably for the passage of the healthcare bill. This is disheartening because it is as though the Democrats are refusing to listen to the people. They seem to have a goal and an agenda that they are going to do no matter what the people want.
Western Europe and the UK has universal healthcare and we are not tyrannies. Far from it.
You can debate the pros and cons of a public option but saying Obamas reforms are a slippery slope towards the gulag is just utter nonsense.
