I always thought the Mecha Dragon stage had the one of the best sounding tunes in the entire MM2 soundtrack. In fact, it's one of my personal favorites. When I was little, I used to call this song "The Dragon's Lair". Not as a reference to the 1983 arcade game, but as a reference to the robotic dragon in the first stage of Wily's Fortress. Anyway, this version is totally kick ass. I love it.

This arcade was really cheesy, but it was fun. Mecha Dragon and Mad Grinder were both good choices for bosses to fight.
