I'm seeing a real "jump on the band wagon" attitude from some of the Neo-conservatives. Anything that they can spin as anti-Obama rhetoric they will encourage. I would bet my right arm that if the "Republican party" had won, this spending would be nearly the same, and the neo-cons would be bashing the tea party movement. They don't get it! This is a return to and a revival of a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!

Just who is paying for the majority of this movement? Someone has to be footing the organizational bill. I find it difficult to believe ALL of them are funded through grass roots movements.

It's hardly grass roots at all. A lot of the tea & other expenditures were paid for by Right wing think tanks which in turn recieved donations from large corporations (I think one of them was even an Oil company but research it to make sure) and rich donors who are afraid of their taxes going up. Everyone's noticed the Fox News angle but they seem to be missing that important part... They call it astroturf for a reason.

It is a concern. I would say by attending the rallies however and passing out our literature, the possibility to turn more people on to our causes are far more realistic. We would have done these Tea Parties regardless if they were being sponsored by these groups. I think we are ultimately responsible for framing the events in a libertarian light. Don't let the GOP fool these people into the same old shit.
