Your numbers are a little off. When Bush took office the debt was around 5.7 trillion. when he left it was 10.6T. Right now, it's almost at 11.3T, which would give Obama about $650 billion in debt in his first 4 months. The previous record was Bush's $700B in debt...for an entire year. Also, you forgot to mention that the CBO is predicting over $1 trillion in deficits for the next 10 years because of Obama. Also, the richest 1% of americans pay 38% of taxes, the richest 20% pay 80% of all taxes.

I am a Gov. worker, in a large office, I see a lot of other workers with Obama screen savers. I would say, 90% of the Gov. workers are Obama supporters. In 2010, Gov. workers get their pay raise, lol; however, Obama, may not give the raise, or if he does, it will be one of the lowest raises given out to Gov. workers.
How Ironic is that, that all these people voted themselves for lower pay. Well, I hope they are all happy about it, and happy that they are getting change

Seriously, though, the US has been deficit spending since 1972. We now pay more just on the interest on our national debt than the budget of the entire Department of Education. Did you really expect any President to be able to fix that in 107 days?
