  • Love this.

  • i don't know if you can call this a tram,i've never seen a tram move as fast as the LA blue line.

  • fake and gay

  • @reddy1025621b

    Troll....

  • I miss Long Beach. I like going to the Library which is on the other side of the street. But hobos are always there.

  • I made several transfers from the Blue line to the #12 bus to Lakewood here but it was a little frightening because of the bums in the Downtown L.B. area.

  • Nice tram (streetcar).

  • These are high platform rail cars as are all Los Angeles lightrail and subway railcars are.

  • I know, but they do resemble trams/streetcars (like Buffalo's).

  • i b on the blue line all day ya dig

  • lol , i noticed that this train had a blinker ;)

  • i saw that

  • tha blue line is tite! saves me a grip on gas, cuz $2.50 gets me 2 work an home everyday! plus i can kickback listen 2 music an read my paper... its that or sit in trafic an deal with stupid drivers, an hi gas prces!

  • Wow. Long Beach didn't have this when I lived and worked near it back in the mid-80's.

I'll bet this tram has transformed the area.

Is there a chance that it runs through San Pedro?

  • no San Pedro Blue line started runing back in 1990. It's nice 55 minute ride from Long Beach To DownTown LOS ANGELES

  • Close but no cigar, the Blue Line goes straight north from Long Beach. San Pedro does, however, have a new Bus Rapid Transit line along the Harbor Freeway (110)

  • @BisonAP

The expo line will run straight to santa monica beach, so there's another upside!

  • that was so nice of the bus driver not to pass in front of youre fimling at least he waited good filming

  • Does anyone have bus videos in the Pomona Transit Center or the El Monte Station?

  • BEfore it beame metro it was RTD and back then it was cool just becasue, THe LBT is way bttter then metro for one its cheeper and the drivers are much nicer, iv only been on merto 2 time and both time have been bad, i have my mom on a wheel chiar and the train driver of the bule line would not help me and the other time on the metro bus the driver did not hook my moms wheel chair on right.

  • Long Beach Transit is ok But Metro covers more of Los angeles County. Long Beach only covers there own area more then anything it's ok but then again u get what u pay for. U can buy A interagency transfer off Long Beach for any MTA bus or train etc.

  • I moved from long beach to NY in 1993,

Just as the rails where getting up and running

  • I am crying tears of joy; man and womankind rolling into the future of green and white and clouds. My tears wash away the ashes and C02 from my heart.

  • yea why arent those supposed to be on the blue line? cause they aren't blue?

  • why do you say those train sets dont belong on the blue line, those train sets look like all the trains on the blue line

  • There was a traffic accident up the line and this was dealt with at the time by bringing in longer trainsets from another line, and with less frequency, confirmed by a local in Long Beach.

    Notice the Del Amo signage

  • Travel Smart.Take METRO.

  • NICE LOVE THE BLUE LINE TRAIN RIDE IT ALL THE TIME I KNOW EVERY BUTTON IN THE CABIN
