@ShatteredEquilibrium Sorry, are you really saying that Metallica and Posionblack sounds alike? They are very different bands, with very different sounds. Just because both falls in the metal genre doesn't make them the same. James' voice is not nearly as rough as Ville's, and Posionblack is way heavier. Norther doesn't have clean vocals, unlike Posionblack. Of the three you mentioned, Pain is the closest. However, they have completely different songs in terms of theme and subject matter.

As a side note, Metallica is as mainstream metal as you get, which is why they are popular. While "better" is subjective, I would argue that James' voice is boring and uninspiring, and their overuse of guitar solos make their songs unbearable to me.

Actually PB has very unique sound. Not many bands sound so rough, heavy and clean same time. And those bands which u mentioned are all different kind and can't really compare to PB or then should compare all metal to other... And cant say PB is follower of those....
