this is cute but it makes me cry, because after 26 years i lost my only pet, willie who was also a double yellow head amazon. i had him since i was 10. part of me wants another parrot, but another part feels nothing can replace him. not even a look alike.

Booger and Danny are both Double Yellow Head Amazons Magna Type. Yours' could be a different sub-species [there are a few] or could have been cross-bred at some point in the lineage with,e.g., Yellow Nape; Blue Front; etc. [Many Yellow Napes have black / grey hook bills as do some sub-species of Blue Fronts ]. Hope this helps.

i love it i got a yellow amazon and he loves the shower to but it occasionally gives him ear aches and the vet told us to put a little water in the bath tube and let him bath him self... your birds are absolutly awesome..:)
