In real life, a muscle car beats the skyline pretty much.

Matters to the race, turns, corners, etc.

Each car have their difference, if it was a pure race, muscle wins, if it was a pure city race with lots of turns, Nissan would win. matters to the situation people.

Plus all you have to do to make the gtr RWD is pull a fuse that disables the front wheels from power. Obviously its a gtr pull ur head outta ya ass.

"RB26 DETT" not PB26, this is one of the things wrong with these movies. Most of the people replying to this seem like they know next to nothing about cars. They see Fast and Furious, and they know everything about street racing, and it's stereotypical sub-culture. We all party every night, we are all involved in illegitimate enterprises, and we all date our rivals' sister.

Skylines are great, but tuning is about taking an affordable car and making it fast with upgrades and mechanical know-how.

it wasnt really a GT-R. It was just a replica. That R34 was from a Tommy Kaira 34 model. It had the RB26DETT, but still no real GT-R. If you do your research on it, it will tell you. I live in Japan, so I see replicas all the time. Its still a nice replica. It was much cheaper to build one instead of smashing a real GT-R.
