Playing online is only a waste of time. It´s so boring cos people call everyone who uses tracking or plasma weapons for noobs and spammers. Those ppl are sad excuses for players and i find it funny how they call themselves pros. Pathetic!

That game was so retarded. Aliens were very overpowered [two pounce jumps; one stunes you, another one, instant kills you]. Preds vere so weak and slow in this game, and most of good pred weapons were banned, cause people were bitching and 'PrO" crying. Marines/Corps always spammed sniper rifles with doubled fire power.

That's all, I can tell about this game ~PREDATOR Hicks

PS: I personally think, the new one is way more balanced.

dude nice vid and great game. The new one is a great improvement in single and multiplayer. I'm surprised that there are still people dedicated to playin this. if your looking to play AVP2 multiplayer now all you need to do is go and download the avp2 savior mod. i think you can get it on moddb

The only major improvement in the new one is the graphics along with a couple of minor adjustments. Everything else is just a huge fail. Less wepeons, maps are all anti-marine type maps, motion tracker is harder to use due to its much smaller size, sprint for aliens is stupidly OP(no drawbacks), stealth/back instant kills encourage camping against marines. Its just generaly harder to play as a marine while preds and aliens have gotten adjustments to make it easyer for them to play.

@Zombiesbum personally i like the added challenge as the marine, in my opinion its just as hard to play as one as it should be. i mean all the other species has there own advantage and the marine is the only one that i think shouldn't have too big an edge. but the whole camping aliens/predators gets old i agree, but i don't think of it as a deterrent.

I don't care if the graphics ain't that modern, they're just enough for me. AVP2 defends itself with its pure fantastic gameplay and climate.

And, when comparing to the new one: mind the new changed smartgun firing sound - it may be nice, nevertheless it is different from what was set by the movies and considered canonical for quite some time.

Not that I'm against any evolution/progress; just pointing out for consideration. Greets to all AVP fans/players :)

As for the question - I've been into that matter since yesterday and, apparently, with some patches and fiddling it is possible to get access to nowadays rather few - yet active - AVP2 servers. Haven't myself yet managed to.

Just do your own google search and get into it. You might want to check out the AJL mod too, while you're on that.

As far as I know, only AVP 1 is on steam (Rebellion) and you can pre-order AVP 3 as well. No AVP 2.

you dont need a keygen anymore. A crack would only be needed to start up the game. Online servers were taken down by sierra, now its a mod that you have to install to play online. Forgot what its called tho sorry

hey nice video i give u 4/5 for one reason u used that predalien xD i hate em they are mix off the predators not pure race ^^.An insult for the predators.(also a real powerfull opponent and trophy ^^)but pretty unbalanced that huge pounce and armor is a too deadly combination im curios what avp3 will come for aliens and predators(the marines they are just my prey ^^)i love predators they rule.But when like 7 aliens and 5-8 marines and 5 predators its sow hard cause u cant focus on one spcies :(

i cant wait avp3 i love how the predator looks in it(love the wristblade now double but i still hope combistick will be back)the mine is a pretty good replacement of the remote bomb but remote bomb is long distance also but needs too detonate sow mine seems better.Plasma caster is awesome as usually but the laser is so easilely too spot :( i know ppl can see it in avp2 but only 3 dots in avp3 we have a nice long laser need too fix this.....aliens awesome as usual,marines heavy firepower ^^.
