  • Greatness

  • Greatness....Lebron couldnt touch this EVER

  • haha i wouldnt get near him if i was anyone on his team or even utah. he could cough/gag and get you the hell out of the way.

  • This is TRULY GREATNESS, and MJ was the best to ever play the game. Kobe is his TRUE HEIR TO THE THRONE. There is no other to match MJ's heart and desire to win other than #24. Lakers 2012-13!!!

  • The rumor was always that Jordan ended up gambling and drinking the night before in Utah. And was playing through no sleep and a serious hang over. If that's true, that's even more legendary!

  • That took some serious will playing ball with the flu

  • he sweats sososososo much

  • U can see it in his eyes at 0:51 that he wasnt at 100%.....Only Jordan, Can Play Like This N Still Be at 110%

  • @tjakalilsilk Dude, I thought the same exact thing without even seeing your comment.

  • I'm trying to forward this to Lebum.....looks like Kobe gave him a bad case of diarrhea today

  • only byron russell would repeatedly leave jordan to double pippen. what an idiot.

  • He's just unbelievable.

  • I'm with flu and I can't even get up of my bed, hahahahaha

  • When Jordan gets sick, he just stops being sick and starts being awesome

  • He quit in Nba Because He Prove that he is the best player of nba

  • samething happened to me on my birthday

  • 38 points for the KING. :)

  • Kobe & LeBron will never be on this level in their wildest dreams.. They are both amazing but never ever ever ever..

  • G.O.A.T. incomparable to anyone.

  • MJ's a better defender and power player, but yep, he's like Dirk in terms of attitude. They're comparable in that aspect, especially considering that Dirk is the only All-Star on his team. And he played past that flu too in the finals.

  • @Maberu09 dirk had a fever not the flu and MJ had 38, dirk had 21, MJ couldnt stand up at the beginning of the day of the game MJ was much sicker and still scored way more. dirk shouldnt be even thought of in the same category as MJ. no one should. dont disrespect the greatest

  • @Maberu09 what about jason kidd he's one of the greatest point guards ever!

  • he is chilling, that could go to the worse way concerning his health

  • shits gives me chills

  • some of my teamates at school have the nerve to say he was faking all of this for more publicity. What idiots!!!!

  • @XKiDCraZyX they must be jealous of him

  • If this video didn't inspire you and give you goosebumps, you ain't human

  • @CaddyDon10 Im human and my skin is fine. I think if this gives u goose bumps u might wanna talk to someone. You may have keratosis, its a rare but serious skin condition

  • Also, to the guy who questioned how sick Jordan was, and said he thought it was a strategy by Jordan, that is totally false. It had no effect on the Jazz because it was reported during and after the game that none of the Jazz players knew, including the coaches, until after the game.

  • Nobody who watched this when it happened will ever forget. Thanks for the memories MJ

  • You know, if anyone during these Finals should be compared to Michael Jordan, its Dirk, not for the skill, but for the attitude and heart. The humility, the drive to play while sick, Nowitzki didn’t run to the middle of the floor, into the throbbing mob of teammates and coaches, cameras and flickering lights.

He wanted to get out of there, wanted to be alone in the visiting locker room. The tears had started to come, and he just thought that he ought to be alone with them.

  • what a coincidence.... got to search this... and today is what? JUNE 11..... goose bumps....

  • MJ to good for the Utah Jazz...

  • messi and jordan winer history sports

  • Jordan would NEVER let the bulls get sweeped by the Dallas mavericks like the Lakers did and He would definitely had closed the games that Lebon James had failed to close to sweep the mavericks.

  • Kobe? Bron? Wade? ... Only 1 JORDAN!

  • BLASPHEMY, I tell you, comparing LeBron to this man. BLASPHEMY.

  • nomater how sick jordan is like the flu hes still badass and he will never give up for a championship final like that

  • Jordan is the greatest player to play basketball even when he is sick he went out there and did wat he had to do for his team and they still pulled off the win i bet kobe and alot of the people that play now wouldnt be able to do that

  • @KBTV10 Please look up on youtube "Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan comparision detailed and factual 2011 NEW" You will see Kobe has NOTHING on Jordan!!

  • @KBTV10 Please look up on youtube "Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan comparison detailed and factual 2011 NEW" You will see Kobe has NOTHING on Jordan!!

  • no way he was faking it.he just pushed thru it coz thats wot you do!his love for the game and will not to lose got it done.period

  • I remember watching this game with my dad. I was eight at the time.

  • I got the flu right now and this is very inspirational

  • "He was faking it." [/BitterJazzFanShittingOnLegacy]

  • I loved it how His body was sick. But His spirit pushed Him on.That is what true faith is all about .

  • this is amazing

no one else does this except mj

  • and people say Leron and Kobe are better players

If they had the flu, Kobe wouldn't have played and Lebron too (Lebron is a pussy I respect Kobe)

  • @itayprojectnatal Lebron wouldn't have played, but kobe would have tho.

  • When I get the flu, i am too sick to even play as Jordan in 2k11...

  • @Moocow002 funny thing is, if it was actually the FLU, theres no way he couldve gotten out of bed....if he tried to play with the actual FLU he would've collaposed on the court and wouldve had to be taken to the hospital....sure he had a cold....but the FLU will knock even the strongest of men down. Still, big props to him!

  • @8MunchenBayern8 that is true, it may have been a lesser form of the flu, but still not easy at all to play basketball with

  • flu game 12's <3

  • that whole game he thought he was gonna drop dead on the court. and he wouldn't have minded.

  • MJ always killed opponents when he was sick. To conserve energy, he'd become even more efficient with his moves.

  • Thats why he is the best of all time playing so good at that sickness it is just AMAZING.

  • GREAT 3 minute video

  • Karl malone dislikes this

  • That 1 dislike was obviously from Kobe.

  • @bebongable kobe is doing his own thing no reason to dislike it if anything it's lebron

  • Michael probably got everyone else sick rofl.

  • epic hat wearing-fail @ 2:19

  • There is NO DEBATE...It CANNOT be argued! Michael Jordan is the BEST HUMAN EVER TO PLAY THE GAME OF BASKETBALL! Period!! Is a FACT!!!

  • It's amazing how God blessed Michael Jordan to still play and win this while being sick

  • he cud of sat down cause game 6 n 7 wud be at home. a tough place to win at for opponents

  • look he's sweating like a pig after one quarter. of course he was sick. you may say oh he looked fine during the game but thats his adrenaline going through him he's got other thing on his mind then "I feel like i'm going to throw up"

  • TOO RAWW

  • He just wanted it more than anyone else on the court. Thats what greatness is all about.

  • amazing

  • how cud he play wen he's ben puking his brains alot n didnt sleep n eat at all?? aint there a rule that says "if you are sick, stay home" the other players n the fan cud of all catched his flu

  • @slapshot68 shut the FUCK UP!!!

  • @slapshot68 and lose the finals?

  • @jblong2711 they wud be playing game 6 n 7 in chicago, no way the bulls wud lose at home

  • i did the same thing i had a torn ligament in wrist on my shooting hand taped it up went and played with sickness could'nt see straight but i gave it my all and had 23 points

  • i did the same thing i had a broken wrist on my shooting hand taped it up went and played with sickness could'nt see straight but i gave it my all and had 23 points

  • thats why they call him the greatest nba player of all time

  • what's the name of this song or instrumental?!

  • I remember this game and watching with my mom I was 11 thinking wow Greatest player of all time.

  • How could anyone say that Michael will do anything to win a game by faking a sickness. You could tell he was not feeling well the whole game. GOD blessed him with the energy he needed to play in the game. If he was not sick, he probably will have scored more. Stop hating on the The Best Player Ever!!!! Love You MJ. :)

  • jordan has so much heart the best ever chicago i am will always love jordan and pippen

  • I had 2 do the same thing and i passed out after a 3

  • the nba misses you

  • shit gives me chills

  • Questioned just how sick he was? Look at the height he's getting on his jumpshot. That is not his full height. He was so weak that game and you could tell.

  • Look at Jordan's expression at :53 seconds. Shows just how sick he is. Absolutely fatigued in the first. Jordan has never made this facial expression except for this game.

  • Man just watching this Brings back so many memories as a kid, this was around the time Space Jam came out. The 90's was the last great era of basketball players...not because of ability, but because they played with more heart and love of the game and not just contracts, back then the basketball players were such a part of pop culture.

  • @Moshid88 For sure man 90s kid also cant beat it

  • Sorry, but please stop the comparaisons with Kobe, or Lebron ,this performance is absolutely epic!!!!!he´s truly the G.O.A.T, when i think about Kobe, i don´t have any memories of him havin such a performance in his career so far.....or who does?

  • @Guile608 81 pt game

  • @KBTV10 wrong. first off it was against the 06 raptors, who can't score 81 on that team...? if kobe had the flu he probably wouldn't be playing.. your a fuckking asswipe for comparing games to this, nobody can do it and probably never will, and seeing that the curtain is closing on kobes career he will never do this so shut the fuck up.

  • @redassasain18 "so shut the fuck up"? are you acting tough on youtube? lol. oh bud, i feel very sorry for you. if anyone can score 81pts on the raptors, please list all of the players that have scored 81 on the raptors...or any team for that matter. i'll look forward to reading the list. have a nice day

  • @KBTV10 how does saying that make me an internet thug? if i said some shit like ill find you and fuck you up then that would be some internet ganster shit, but i didn't say that, and im not an e-thug, i was just trying to prove a point and make it very clear that i believe in this point im making. btw io feel sorry for you because u have nothing valuable to tell me on ur comment, just wasting time by telling me false information.

  • @redassasain18 an e-thug? Sir, I don't mean to be rude, but you sound like a nerd. BTW, you made all of your comments based on your opinion and nothing but that. You don't know what kobe would do in that situation. You don't know what anyone would do in that situation except yourself. So please stop arguing over the internet. Only douchebags do that.

  • @KBTV10 ur acting like kobes a god cuz he scored 81 nigga i bet hell never have a monster game like bron when he had somethin like 40+ pts 15+ assists and 12+ rebounds, in my opionion thats way better than just scoring 81 points.. not to mention brons done that more than once, he plays for his team, not for himself. in 06 kobe played for himself thats why he scored 81, and thats why the lakers fucking SUCKED in 06..

  • @KBTV10 and like i said before, you can't compare that bullshit 81 point game to this, cuz kobe wouldn't even b at the game with the flu. This game is timeless, and one of the best performances in NBA history topping kobes 81 point game, i garuntee you if jordan really had wanted too he could of scored 100+ in one game, seeing that hes the best player of all time, dont come up in here with that stuff man, its WEAK.

  • @redassasain18 all i can do is go by the facts. i dont dispute jordan is the best of all time. nobodys even close. but dont say kobe wouldnt play if he had the flu....u have no idea. you're just speculating. fact: kobe scored 81. fact: jordans high point game is 69. you say jordan could score 100+ anytime...but he didnt. again, you're just speculating. your opinions dont stand up......assuming is WEAK.

  • @KBTV10 its not my fault ur mom made u a fucking loser, and a internet gangster, u talk shit after i shut you the fuck up. you can't compare anything kobe did to anything jordan, cuz whatever kobe did in his career jordan could have probably done it better, end of discussion.

  • @redassasain18 youre such a badass!!! probably the toughest kid ever! "whatever kobe did, jordan could have probably done it better." wow, how can anyone argue with such wisdom as that sentence. anyway, hope all is well with you. try and go out and do something today...dont just sit in your parents basement renewing your "tila tequila" membership. see ya, internet gangster

  • @KBTV10

    ok facts?

ok fact is kobe best's performances are against weak teams or in easy games and guess what..it is just the opposite for MJ.

fact? the greatest individual performance ever is not the 81 points of kobe, not even the wilt's 100..it is the 63 points in a playoffs game by MJ (against the best defensive team and future champion).

the best of wilt in a playoffs game is 56,kobe?50 against a "no defense" phoenix team...i guess you know the difference between playoffs and regular season.

  • @lionelangemario do you know the difference between a fact and an opinion? just curious. b/c "kobe's best perf are against weak teams" is not only an opinion, its assinine. he has 5 titles and his best performances are against weak teams? lol ok. your OPINION is that the best performance is ever is jordans 63pt game. lots of people would argue that...in fact, a lot of people would argue that its even jordans best game, let alone greatest performance ever. you're funny.

  • @KBTV10

that is why i asked you at the end of my message if you knew the difference between playoff and regular season, apparently you don't know,if you did,you wouln't talk anymore about this bullshit 81 points against a super-weak team...toronto.man that is a fact, kobe put 50 against phoenix(great!) in playoffs,in this era, with this bullshit marketing rules...wilt chamberlain never passed 56 in playoffs,if you don't know,go back and study.

so i think you are funny..i guess that's my opinion...

  • @lionelangemario i love how you classify the 2006 raptors as a super weak team....a team that went to the playoffs. i guess thats an opinion again. kobe...6 triple doubles in playoffs. jordan 2 playoff triple doubles. facts.. kobe has had several better all around performances in playoffs. period. anyway little man, i wont be responding to you anymore b/c you're too easy. i hope you move out of your mommys basement soon and wish you the best of luck with your comic book collection.

  • @KBTV10

lol you really funny that's a fact!!!

you love that about me?you know what i really love about you(besides your comedian talent)?your ability to change subject, first you talk about the greatest individual performance by pointint a number "81", after kindly rejected your argument, showing you that 63 in playoffs is better than 81 in reg.,you talk about triple double in playoffs lol?what's the point?that kobe is a better playoffs performer than jordan? lol funny,...really funny looool

  • @KBTV10

    want to talk about palyoffs?

    most 50 points+ games,40 points+ games,30 points+ games,20 points+ games in playoffs than any other player...guess who?

and remember, the best jokes are the shortest...you're good but enough is enough...if you want to talk, please talk seriously or shout your BIG mouth...

  • I disagree with the guy at 2:17. He was probably to sick to be playing basketball. Just look at how much he was sweating after the first quarter. He simply had the will power to push through his sickness and win. Taking away from that fact is just wrong.

  • @soccaplaya3303 Pat Riley not saying that he wasn't sick enuf that he shouldn't be playing basketball it's just the understanding that Michael had such a passion to play that even his sickness wasn't gonna stop him.Just like magic in high school,i believe, when he sprung his ankle and was sent to the locker room but when his team was falling behind,he returned to the game. His ankle wasn't sprung enuf to not play basketball. So it's just the passion in magic(and MJ)that nothing was gona stop him

  • @Zeike151990 it's Jerry Sloan.

  • @souls9mischief3 oh shoot that's right,my bad!!! lol a quick glance i thought that was pat!

  • @soccaplaya3303 Im not sure if I agree, the john deer hat makes him seem very credible

  • @soccaplaya3303 That guys Jerry Sloan, by the way. But I agree.

  • @soccaplaya3303 mate thats jerry freaking sloan.

  • @soccaplaya3303 "The guy" His name is Jerry Sloan.

  • @soccaplaya3303 The guy at 2:17 is former Jazz coach Jerry Sloan. I don't think he was saying that anyone could play through that. He was speaking to Jordan's determination and that the flu wasn't enough to stop him from being Jordan.

  • @soccaplaya3303 "The guy"? You should know better than that. That's Jerry Sloan my friend.

  • @soccaplaya3303 I'm like 90% sure that guy is Jerry Sloan and if it is then it makes perfect sense y he would say that, cus he and his team got busted by Jordan. But if it wasn't Jerry Sloan well that guy is just a good old plain hater.

  • @Zachrydaman Yep its Jerry Sloan

  • @soccaplaya3303 the guy? you don't refer to jerry sloan as the guy, hahha :P

  • @vincentluong1 I believe I just did.

  • @soccaplaya3303 that guy was jerry sloan

  • @soccaplaya3303 That was the Jazz coach, Jerry Sloan. I think he just meant that he was still going to be the regular Michael Jordan , even though he was sick.

  • It's the 1997 finals not 1998.

  • LOL @ Sam Smith's comments about him being a con man. yea that's original...

Jerry Sloan is a great coach but the bitterness just reeks. he is just mad because jordan added to his legacy at the expense of his team.

my favorite game of MJ = this game.

  • nice one!!..sloan u said it best!!..

the 3 min vid is like a trailer in a blockbuster movie!!.

  • Thank you! That game was AWESOME!

  • yes it was my all time favorite m. jordan game. down by 16 pts. & came back to win. also i really loved how the rest of the team had played. especially l. longley who hustled down court ahead of everyone & stuffed it. that's team work.****
