  • He would have looked like an absolute idiot if he had of missed that one

  • umm huh add to favorites and were done

  • I remember that. Windies Tour, 1991.

  • It's Motherfucking Alan Border.

    Well done mate. :)

  • wait what happened to the ball?

  • hahahaha

  • would have been funny if he swung and missed.

  • @bigforrap lol

  • that should have gone out of the stadium lol

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • like it

  • I like cricket.

  • its not 6 its 7...........everyone is born right handed...only the great overcome it

  • nice shot

  • lol.

  • heeheeheeheehee Waht a six.. lol

  • lolzzzz

  • Comment removed

  • no wonder the score was 7234 for 8

  • It'd have been funnier if he'd gottn caught out to that shot :-)

  • @ankurmvit It was a no ball, therefore can't be given out by a catch, only a run out or stumping.

  • @DreddWolff lol true.. but I don't think u can be out stumped off a no ball.

  • @ankurmvit Really? Isn't it just a run out by the keeper?

  • @DreddWolff nope.. it isn't a run out.. if a batsman is stumped, the bowler gets the wicket.. unlike a run out..

  • @ankurmvit mate you can get stumped off a no ball look it up

  • @sydneysparky

    No you cannot..

Google "stumped off a no ball" and you'll find it out..

Think about it.. If a spinner has bowled a no ball, the batsman would wanna come down the track and hit him for a six cuz he won't have the fear of getting out. (provided he's heard the call).

The only way you can get out is run out.

  • @ankurmvit apologies mate you are correct

  • @sydneysparky

You were probably getting it mixed up with a Wide, when you can get stumped.

  • @ankurmvit its not a no ball as it didnt bounce off the square before he hit it.

  • I THINK HE SHOULD OPF BEEN CHARGED WITH BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE FOR HITTING THAT BALL VERY VERY UNSPORTING BUT HE IS AN AUSSIE AND THERE NOT THE FAIREST SPORTS PEOPLE ARE THEY

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Perfectly said !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DAJAZDJ1 let me guess...youre a pom and like all poms are annoyed the folk down under constantly kick your arse in sport. Harden up mate.

  • @MrMacabyte HOLD ON MY FRIEND WHO'S WON 3 OF THE LAST 4 ASHES HOW KMANY ENGLAND SKIPPERS HAVE LOST 3 ASHES SERIES LIKE PONTING THE AUSSIE SKIP DID

  • @DAJAZDJ1 ...lets get this all into perspective. Australia has kicked Englands butt over the last 20 years in cricket with a slight bump in performance lately (we wont mention Englands woeful ODI record either). Yes Ponting has lost the Ashes 3 times but why dont you compare how many times he has also won as a captain? England dont have gutsy captains who can take the hard times and the good times. They simply dont last that long.

  • @DAJAZDJ1 How about you stop typing in capitals you illiterate attention-seeking fuck

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Who has won 10/13 Ashes series?

  • @bongo155 ENGLAND OR THEM CHEATING AUSSIE SCUM

  • THEM RUNS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM HIS RECORD FOR UNSPORTING BEHAVIOUR IN FACT IM GOONA START A PETITION TO GET THIS DONE

  • COME ON AB PLAY THE GAME FAIR SPORT

  • ha.. even i can do this

  • actually it should have been a dead ball

  • @tjroxxy Correction. It was a legal delivery, and it should have been 6 wides. :)

  • @buddy7574 IF HE HITS IT IT CANT BE A WIDE

  • weeelllllllllllllll temme where was the ballin tgese 9 seconds .. :-\

  • it would have been funny if he was caught

  • @hamza14b No ball therefore couldn't be caught

  • @hamza14b No ball dude..

  • Comment removed

  • One of the most basic things about batting is you hit the bad deliveries. And I can't imagine a worse delivery than this. There's nothing unfair or cheap about that shot.

  • USMAN, are you a US Man, or Usman? If the former I could perhaps understand your ignorance of the laws. Look them up. Why on earth would it be a dead ball?

  • thumbs up if you would've laughed if he got out on such a delivery

  • ball didnt go past the batsmans crease - batsman is entitled to go for it

  • Was is really a six? I mean did they count this is score?

  • @USMANchampNO1 Yeah, why wouldn't they?

  • @Arsenal8Life I thought since this ball landed far outside of the pitch. It would have been given dead ball

  • hahaha!!!

  • It was a cheap six. I would not hit unless it is a world cup and a game changer.

  • Here am giving for best cricket site

    please visit@

    crickzone

  • where was the fucking ball

  • hahaha

  • lol thats awsome!

  • hahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahah.i think that was a NO BALL,WIDE WELL HE HIT IT,and a SIX

  • where the fuck is the ball?

  • @raviji landed in pakistan.lol

  • cheap 6

  • @ewhi1 - what do you mean? the current australian team are all c*nts.

  • would that have been out if he'd skied that? no-ball i assume..

  • @555hugs

No, he'd have been out. Had he left it, it would have been called wide. As it was, he chose to hit it below the height for a no ball, given Simmon's gentle pace, so he made it legal.

  • Nice slower ball there from Simmonds

  • @3432315 why didn't he let the ball go

  • lol

  • i dont see the ball

  • wow great shot hahahaha

  • hahaha

  • hahahahha

    tight

  • It would've been cooler if he missed the shot.

  • @Eragon9393 Naah it would'nt of been cooler it wouldve been funnier LOL

  • Ive got much longer footage of this whole over, i'll upload it soon.

  • Really that was 1 more instance of unfair cricket,,,.If that ball might have faced 4m the players of SA or IND ..They shld hav considered it a dead ball and left it alone...Spirutual players

  • @MrSethanjvps who cares...it's a bit of enjoyment, he had every right to do that. The crowd enjoyed it certainly, and they were West Indian supporters. And please don't pretend Indian cricket players are decent human beings (most of them) "spiritual" indeed hahaha

  • @MrSethanjvps btw just to clarify I was referring to players like Ganguly, Harbhajan, Sreesanth etc as being indecent...guys like Dravid, Dhoni etc are very likeable indeed

  • @MrSethanjvps somtimes you gotta hit what you can for your country, plus it was a SHOCKING ball

  • @MrSethanjvps It's up to the umpire to decide whether the ball can be considered dead or not and about awarding the runs. The batsman can even hit a declared dead ball, anywhere he likes.(The runs won't be awarded though.)

Nothing unfair about it.It was just meant for fun.

  • c'mon it was a gift...lol it got what was common to it

  • Brilliant Shot! WOW!!!

  • shit balling got what it deserved

  • shit balling got what it diserved

  • thats actually hard 2 execute!!!

    nice 1

  • Merciless. It's the only way to play

  • Got what it deserved

  • Also remember Border having a ball come to rest on the ground before it reached him. The bowler went to pick it up but Border stopped him and asked the umpire, who told the bowler to back away and gave Border the free hit, which he dispatched for 4 . Perfectly legal and totally within the laws of the game! Also this wouldn't have been too difficult to hit for six, remember Border was a baseballer growing up. Well done champ...always thinking at the crease!

  • as if

  • @ewhi1 well said!

  • Boarder had some real cunt in him, what the current Australian team lacks.

  • @ewhi1 that's just the laws of cricket: it's a present to the batsman and he took it. Completely OK. Fantastic Border, and with his side on style, really funny too

  • ahahaahahah that made me lol hard XD

  • @ BORDER HAS A CUNT??? :o

    ROFLMAO =))

  • hahaha funny if he got out to it!!!!! :)

  • this reminds me of a world cup years back! i think it was andy bichel who hit an andre adams double bouncer for six

  • A lot of people have asked me if there is a vid of AB hitting a lady in the crowd on the head, Ive never seen one, I read about it in David Boon's book, if there was a vid I would like to see it too

  • @deejayzak it was on youtube at point but i cant find it now

  • @deejayzak u can watch fred flintoff hitting a catch to his dad out 0f 20 odd thousand fred picked his dad out and hit it to him

  • if it were to be a catch in this ball then the umpires would never given him out, but gave the six. thats how english play,

  • @TheAnticonspiracy Mate.....Border's Australian....

  • @TheAnticonspiracy No, the umpires would play the rules, as you see the umpire doesn't signal, meaning that the ball is still legal when it was hit, and so therefore the catch would stand, and Border would look rather stupid

  • Haha..That was good presence of mind.

He was competitive to the core, a true fighter and quite simply, one of the finest Test bastmen I've ever seen!

  • That must have been a difficult six to hit. It would have been humiliating if he had missed that.

  • thumps up if you replayed it 100 times

  • @frankchau9848 thumps down for yu

  • @frankchau9848 Wish I could thumbs you up but I replayed it 99 times and decided I had enough.

  • Fair play if you ask me. You bowl a pile of shit it gets punished. Simple

  • gud

  • very funny video

  • hahaha nice

  • That was bad sportsmanship by Border. You can see it was a bowler mistake. A true sportsman would either let it become a dead ball or let it become a wide.

  • @fanirama AB wasent there to be sporting, he was there to win, that was his raison det're, everything else was second

  • @fanirama Bullshit. Mistakes are punished in top level sport. This was from either the 4th or 5th ODI match from the 1991 tour of West Indies by Australia. During the test series Dean Jones was run out on a no-ball even though he was walking off because he didnt hear the call of no-ball.IT was clear he was not attempting a run and mistakingly walked but the West Indian players claimed the run out anyway even though later some admitted they knew he wasnt out.

  • @fanirama I call bullshit. In professional sports and especially in test cricket if you bowl a bad ball it will be punished.

  • That was Phil Simmons crazy ass bowling!! That was funny!!

  • Great shot Allan!

  • @australia1nbr1 you aren't Australian, don't claim you are.

  • @australia1nbr1 if only it were possible to delete you...

  • @mrvictoria Yeah he's a pretty annoying troll, he posts that on every cricket video there is.

  • thumbs up for australian cricket spirit lol

  • "The art of slow bowling" by Phil Symonds!

  • he runs like a duck with a bat in hand ROFLMAO!

  • nice foot work...i never imagined there was such kind a act in international cricket..lolzz

  • koooooooooooool

  • not at all funny but uncommon

  • Nice footwork from Allan Border there.

  • they both are most crazy and had not ability to play the international standard of cricket

  • @cute00923154044567

Thats Alan Border you're talking about.... :-D

  • @cute00923154044567 The batsman is Allan Border - one of the finest Aussie test batsmen. WTF are you blabbering about international standards?

  • baap re baap... kaise kaise khiladi janm le lete hain

  • @shagun218

in english please if you are going to say anything my love.

  • @28PaulS i was exclaiming that what type of players are born i.e. given place in the team

  • Must have been a huge crack in crease for that to happen

  • Love how the crowd roared.

  • hi hi hi

  • FUNNIEST SIX EVER BY BORDER

  • it wud hav been hilarious if he had missed it and ball hit the stumps somehow :D

  • lolllllss ...

  • this clip showed that u can hit the ball from anywhere, no matter its on pitch or not.

  • rofl great six from border :D

  • lol WTF was that??? r u kidding me?

  • kya six hay

  • omg...

Bowler dropped the ball, back then this was NOT considered a no ball

Batsmen hit the ball, meaning it WAS NOT a wide.

  • I'm not sure how many times that bounced but the relevant law is a noball shall be called if the ball not having previously touched the striker or his bat bounces twice, rolls along the ground or comes to rest in front of the strikers wicket (law 24, 6&7). But that is since the latest rewrite of the laws in 2000, this clip I believe is from 1991 (in the carribean) I believe I've read about that exact incident in Allan Border's autobiograpghy, so that post 2000 law was not in force then. cheers

  • its not a wide because he hit it but is still a no ball for bouncing twice in front of the batting crease i rememba mcmillan try 2 do the same thing he hit it straight 2 a fielder and nearly got run out lol

  • So you think you can't be caught off a wide ball then - go and read the rules. It's not a wide if he hits it anyway. Border swacked it because it was a gimme - would have been funny if he'd missed it and got run out though!

  • it wasnt a wide its a no ball and u cant b caught off a noball

  • WRONG - see Bernie's recent post (thanks Bernie), under the old rules if the ball slipped out of the bowler's hand and went very wide or dropped short, it wasn't a no ball, but the batsman had the right to treat it as a free hit. Once he'd hit it though, he could be run out or caught.

  • it's not a wide when you hit it

  • That ball deserved everything it got and probably more.

  • That's just NOT cricket!!! *shakes head*

  • Fag.

  • hahaha owned

  • ahahaha, cant believe how well he connected to that. Gr8 shot!!

  • LMAO!!!!

  • Thats more like the Worst Ball ever.

  • FUCKING TROLLS dont start fucking internet arguments they get no where. not everyone wants to here ur opinioooooooooooooooooooooooooon

  • Dance those pies!

  • Bowl badly, get tonked. What's unfair about that?

  • what do you mean no concept of fair play, it was a shit ball and got the treatment.

  • Your comment is fukin rubbish, evaluate your source.

He bowled a shit ball and got the desired punishment.

  • AB was playing against a county side in an England tour, he hit 2 sixes during his innings and hit the same lady in the crowd twice, second time on the head and they took her to hospital, lol

  • @deejayzak , was that the Australian National Cricket team batting?

  • @deejayzak he musn't have liked her

  • @deejayzak I thought it was Andrew symonds who did that...

  • @deejayzak can u post the link for the ab video....

  • @deejayzak same thing happened to Symonds

  • @deejayzak Oh my God!

  • @deejayzak

Shit ... she must be mad at him .. for aiming at her.

  • @deejayzak

might hav been his ex :p

  • @kakamana1000 I would have thought she would have moved lol
