  • @DulceCaramela

polymer clay yes it was :)

  • Oh african baby./

  • You're very talented! Thanks for sharing and using basic tools, every website I looked at said you need proper sculpting tools etc..

  • That is so clever to be doing a lot of the sculpting with a toothpick. Lots of patients I think!

  • That`s really instructional. . . ¡and she don`t talk!!!!!!!

  • Wow...beautiful baby! I am new to sculpting and still trying to find a technique that works for me. Your technique seems wonderful and I was wondering if it would at all be possible to send me through email the actual still photos so I can have them in front of me to look at.. Videos just go too fast for me. Sorry if I'm being a pest and I understand if you can't but please let me know. Thanks! Debbie

  • That is amazing, u r very talented! Don't worry about certain comments, a lot of people from my generation are so technology minded they see anything that's not remotely involved with technology boring! And I'm ashamed to be part of that generation!! One question tho, why marzipan? I know it's been used for centuries in sculpting but I thort that was if u were gonna eat it! Why not femo or clay? Wouldn't it go off?

  • It was that crap, hmmmmmmm it got published in a magazine..oooooooh...

  • Whatcha talkin bout Willis

  • gary coleman?

  • Ok taking these pics there was no camera stuck to my face, all I used was a camera on a tripod, set the camera to 10 sec timer, so i had the time to pose for the shot.

    SIMPLES

  • @ooakvaleriestill My teacher says that crap in a good way all the time! :)

  • @PenguinGirl519

crap in a good way, how is that possible, lol, my teacher didnt give a dam, and i don't give a dam either.

  • How are you taking pictures from your face, when both your hands are occupied? lol, and this is really neat! Makes me want to try it sometime.

  • woww..........cool

  • thanks everyone,

  • that is one of the neatest things ive seen in my life =)

  • AMAZING TALENT...

  • thats what i call talent!

  • :38 ninja

  • wow,excellent!

  • nicely done :)

  • damn thats sweet

  • Look's like chocolate :D

  • i know doesnt it its temping

  • yo tambien tengo unas figuras hechas a plastilina y puedes verlas buscandolas como: Deidara de akatsuki 3

    o tambien como: maku1614

  • matt acrylic varnish can be used but i only tend to use the gloss acrylic for eyes and mouth.

For a shiny finish to my fairys i use baby talc to smooth out the clay before baking.

This give the clay a nice sheen but only do this when you are a 100% sure you finised with your work as the talc stops the clay bonding.

  • YOU ARE A VERY SMART PERSON

  • amazing

  • hi, i love the way you do this baby head, i have been doing some sculpting, but can never get the face to look good. What do you use to finish a product? Do you use a certain kind of glaze or shellac? Is there a way to slow down the video?Thank you.

  • yh its called pause

  • im am looking for a new hobby this looks like a grate past time id love to be able to do work like this ...very good

  • thats great, what materials would i need

  • thats really good, love the step by step process. reckon the same process could be applied to sugar paste modelling. thanks for posting this

  • ooakvaleriestill nice job 5*, what is the product you use to do this sculptur?

  • muito obrigada aprendi muito

  • wow great job you are good!

  • dude, thats creepy

  • lol an pasta machine :D nice

  • WONDERFULL

  • you should bake your clay in a toaster oven.if you use the oven you cook your food in the plastics will stick to the sides and contaminate your food. thats what an art teacher told me. just a tip.you probably already know.your a great artist.

  • yes that is very important, always read the packet and follow the rules.

I use one of those 2 ring table top oven thingys lol..

    thank you for you comments

  • Loved the video, you made it look so easy... I have a small amount of prosculpt that I have put off trying to make a baby with. But seeing this I just might try.

    Thank you

  • i love to see other peoples work, please share when you finished your little one thanks.

  • Wow your a great artist , I have a question do you have to bake it? Oh and i was wondering does anybody know what kind of clay they use for the reborn dolls? Is it bake clay or airdry?

  • Well, I saw that they would use a baby doll that childeren play with. Then they do a long process. You should look it up on here.

  • The clay that i use has to be baked in a standard oven not a kiln. As for reborns i here that prosculpt is often used but I myself have not tryed this so i am of very little help sorry.

  • Wow very helpful and beautiful babies! I love from how it looks simplified to it growing into more complex features! very nice!!

  • Great baby head. You really showed how adding on and on makes it. Loved it!

  • thanks for sharing

  • your welcome :)

  • I'd like to see you make something bigger than that. It's so tiny! That said, babies kind of creep me out, especially this one. But it's a good sculpt.

  • haha! i agree with you about the creepy babie part. I think that only aplies to new borns. the look kind of rat like

  • Nicely done video, easy to follow.

    Thanks so much :)

  • ive not tryed air drying clay but what ive heard its not too good to sculpt with..

  • yeah its hard working with air drying clay cause time is very very limited, and it falls apart quite fast. Its not a pro thing

  • good job! Is there any clays that dry in the air and dont have to be cooked?

  • That was great! What type of material do you use?

  • types of clay that i use, cernit being the softest of the clays, prosculpt a firm clay easy to work with, and sculpey living doll is another favourite clay i like to use. Thank you for your comment

  • this little one was made with prosculpt.
