@HailToTheSkunk Nope. I was there, on the banks (due to an injury caused surfing at that exact spot) where the video starts. The boats were screwing up the wave, but there were no incidents with the helicopter ( working for Sky TV) or the paramotor (See his own video). Even the surfers who appear to come together near the end wasn't an accident. The guy lying prone is a tv reporter, and the guy next to him is one of the world's top tidal bore surfers..looking out for him.

@saucyisawesome Not anywhere near here. It's my local wave. Look up Minsterworth, Gloucs, UK on google maps. The nearest regular breaks are beyond Cardiff on the north side, and around Woolacombe on the south. That's a very long way. And no wave I know of other than a tidal bore can give you a ride that goes on for up to one hour...not for everyone, sure, but some people enjoy the glide.
