  • The question is:

    Who exactly is the organist?

  • yeah.. looks way older than 1997

  • I can just feel feel the whole organ dropping out from under me...

But then again, I was also scarred for life by the Tower of Terror and a real elevator fall I was in when I was 12...

  • GOING DOWN

  • Oh my god, i remember this! it terrified me when i was younger O.o :D

  • the older aardman and wallace and gromits are amazing :)

  • WOW! I can not help a terrible chills when he says: Going down ...

  • I think we can all agree that when we were kids Aardman animations were the scariest fricking things ever.

  • I wonder what happened after then went outside.

  • The person who disliked this must definately be Arnold...

  • I liked how the 'organist' saved Tiny and brought the bully down to you-know-where. They should make a sequel of this where Tiny and Daphne are now film stars together...but the bully's ghost escapes and comes back for revenge.

  • @MWolfL That's a terrible idea.

  • @MWolfL incredibly dark scenerio

  • GOING DOWN. that part creepes me out sooo much it's like they're GOING DOWN...to hell!

  • this scared me to the point of having nightmares :| very well made, but creepy as Hell.

  • @MrBennish i know. it's scarier than horror movies. it's so creepy in its own way

  • GOING.DOWN.

  • lmfao so hard at "i want t'get back in the basket"

  • I love the tune the organist is playing.

  • When i first saw this it looked weird and creepy, but now i tink it's a very good animated short. Didn't this got an Oscar nomination?

  • I love this, its so weird!

  • that creepy animation is called the adventures of william tell i thjink. u can find it on youtube

  • I remember when i first saw this.... i nearly died i was so scared!!!

  • the organist used to give me the creeps, and he still does

  • 2:26 is so funny

  • You can't see the organist's lips move.

  • HE KICKED THE BUCKET!

  • its almost as scary as that one kids animation that got banned, it got banned cos it was too creepy.

  • what animation was that?

  • i cant remember, just look up "banned creepy kids animation", or something like that

  • very good short, suprisingly dark for aardman, tho

  • Good but its frekin Scary!!!

  • great but freaky as hell!!

  • I liked it a lot, but I do think that the writers were on some kind of acid.

  • Oh-ho! He kicked the bucket! Clever!

  • Scary!!!

  • Wow...that was....Nice. I miss good animation/cartoons.

  • This is brilliant!!

  • This was the first one I ever saw. And I loveeee it.

  • ah what a happy ending

  • uh uh uhn nn GOING DOWN!

  • i love the part where he plays the organ

  • Took me forever to find this video! Thanx for uploading it, I love it!

  • It is only coincidental that the dog is the item being stolen as Gromit was also a dog, that Nick was given little credit for his activities on various films done in conjunction with Katzenberg. Yep, them coincidences keep on coming. The girls encourages the real creative person to 'be nice' to a Big Producer; forcing him to work with an evil person. She wakes up in time to big producer's evil, helps the creative person fight off the evil person, and they both leave through an open door.

  • IMHO the meaning is this that a large corporation can buy an idea, walk all over the creator of the idea. Try to steal the idea and present it as their own, but be exposed and given his just reward (go to hell). Oddly, this was done even before Nick Parks got involved with Katzenberg of Dreamworks. Suggest reading timelines of Dreamworks break-up, vis-a-vis production of various projects, and the disarticulation and removal of Aardman from various contracts. Very prescient this little film.

  • that is so true...awesome coincedence

  • Arnold kicked the bucket lol!

  • HE KICKED THE BUCKET

  • @Nimbulan06 Yes. He is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker. He's a stiff. Berift of life. He rests in peace. If he didn't pull that thing out he'd be pushing up daisies. He's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This...is an ex-douchebag!

  • this short describes mankind's switch from theatre to film in a very personal way. how art must move on.

  • couldn't have said it better myself. well said.

  • This is a very strange, creepy and confusing short film does anyone understand this.

  • Classic aardman.

  • A very different direction stylewise, but still keeping everything we love about Aardman... almost as mysterious as the film itself...

  • one of my favourites too!

  • this is my favourite aardman film!
