One big detail Washer leaves out is that it is GOD who does these changes within us, it is not our efforts whatsoever!

God makes these changes according to His timing... Meanwhile, you are completely FREE of sin based solely on what Christ has done.

The purpose of the Law is to show us our inability to be good. It is when we realize that our efforts don't work and we give up, then God will change what He wants to change.

STOP trying not to sin, let God open your eyes to His perfect plan!

Paul Washer challenges my walk pretty much everytime I listen to one of his sermons. This is what's lacking in Christendom. We're lead to pursue the "American Dream" when we should be striving to reflect the image of Christ.
