My mom wouldn't let me go to the 1980 Floor Show. Recently found a VCD and was able to rip it to a computer-friendly format. This is a treasure. Does anybody remember BowieCon?

I was 24 years old when this show first aired on Midnight Special . Every acid-head, glitter-freak, rock 'n roll space-kid (we TRUE underground types !) could not WAIT for the broadcast. We were all beside ourselves. We'd all been thru the '60s psychedelic thing, the protest thing, but THIS was exciting and exhilarating and grand and fabulous! I treasure those days and that time. God, it was fun. If you weren't there.....well, it was just too much. A soft spot in my heart for Ziggy!
