Can someone tell me the name of the best and smallest pistol, and the best revolver you can buy. Is a revolver/pistol with drum better than a revolver without drum. Sometimes the lock on a pisto/revolver will jam why, and what should you buy if you must possible wanna avoid that. Has the jam thing somethings to do with how many times you have used the gun? I guess the name of the guns will be Colt and Smith and Wesson.

Only revolvers have drum. The pistols have a magazine. The gun in the video for example is a revolver. Generally, the revolvers are more reliable, but they have too few bullets(6 while the pistols have from 10 to 18). The jam thing won't be a problem if you take care of your pistol. Usually, if you buy a pistol, you'll get a cleaning kit with it. As for the brands, there are a lot, some for pistols&revolvers, and others only pistols.

bilarion, thanks for the information. What i admire with a gun wether it is a pistol or revolver is how it is made. to see a small pistol with all its finish, polished black steel and its curves. I like to see the work and to hold it in my hands it gives you a nice feeling. I have seen a video where a fantastic pistol is shown, just to look at it wow the video is: Tactical Solutions Ruger Mk ll 22 Suppressed fun.

@globe255: The "best" gun is like asking what is the "best" car; it depends on what you are trying to do and opinions will differ anyway.

All revolvers have cylinders (drums). It is what makes them revolvers. Semi-automatics have slides, but there is no "best" setup.

If by "lock" you mean the hammer, it can only jam if the gun is extremely dirty, through use or abuse. Proper maintenance should avoid that. If you mean a gun lock, the best way is to not use a gun lock.

Phage0070 thanks for the good information. I dont know much about guns so i cant get enough info. I was thinking if i should buy a gun cause i was a little jealous when i saw a close up about Smith and Wesson magnum 44 from a good guy in here, hickok45. I have also seen a video about Glock pistols from hickok45 fantastic. What also made me kind of jealous was a video about Ruger Mk ll.22. They are all fascinating. The best videos i have seen in here are those hickok45 has made, they are good.

why should u buy a gun? Buy a gun if u need it, not just because it is cool. You never know when u play and accidentally shoot someone. If u have problems with people and want protection, yeah... get a revolver/pistol AND a shotgun. My advice: stay away from guns unless you really need them.

gman17rapper the interest i have in guns should only be for club-shooting. In my country it is so difficult just to get the acces to a gun, so you have to very like it if you wanna shoot. You have to be member of a shooting club(normally) for a year before you can get license to a gun. You do also need to shoot x times a year to have it. So all in all i think it all ends up with no i dont think i wanna go through all that mess.

in theory, you probably could,although you would have to wear some kind of bulletproof protection on your hand.

but if you could get the bullet to slide between your thumb and you indexfinger, and simultaniously move you have backwards at tremendous speed, you would be able to dissapate the bullets energy without destroying it.
