I've often wondewred who wrote this song . On the Album it says writer unknown . I always thought that it might've been Elmore James , but I coould be wrong .
I just discovered this video. It's excellent blues - different from your other videos but terrific, too. It seems that whatever genre you use you do an excellent job. You are truly gifted!
DUDE! I will gladly vocalize for your band. I got this nasty, whiskey tinted voice,......whiter N' a snowflake, but a really black, bluesy vocal. I will gladly rip my vocal chords, (like Stevie did his fingers) to sing in front of an Axe slinger like THAT! Rock ON.
13BrainSlung - Many thanks to you! If you post a video of yourself singing this song (you can use this video as a backing track), I'll edit a new version of this with you in it!
That sir is some nice slide guitar, as other peope have said its tough to master, i re-wrote the solo for this song so i didn't have to struggle lol, so good job :D
Thanks klasek for replying, that would take a lot of time. I would love to see it if you got the time. Most people dont realise the amount of time involved in producing any vid ,anyway I appreciate all your work.Regards ;)
Thanks! I like how you play, so I'm sure that you could be a great slide guitarist if you want. Good guess on the guitar model in this video. It's actually an ES-135.
I can not play slide for shit! That was pretty good man...you're a great player! I'll post some videos of me soon (once I figure out how to get my camera working with the computer). Keep it up!
To be honest with you, I got started with slide before I even knew what the Internet was (or was going to be). Basically, I learned by listening to my favorite players and making tons of mistakes trying to imitate them. Elmore James is a good one to start off with. Sometime over the next couple days, I'll put up a video that features his playing style.

Cool, do you by any chance know of any good resources on the net to learn slide? I have a slide, etc.

That was really cool, I've always wanted to learn to use a slide, never got round to it. Great job.

You've definitely got the talent and the equipment to play some really good slide. It's a great skill to pick up. You should give it a try.
klasek 5 years ago
That was really good but i think the backing track was a little too loud good playing though

Thanks. You make a good point. I did have a bit of trouble finding a balance that I was happy with.
